Game Saves When Upgrading Hdd? Short Question :)

Recommended Posts

Guys,

I need to know if you can transfer saves with no issues after you upgrade your HDD, is this possible? I want to upgrade my HDD using Chimp (but I have to wait for my Sata to IDE adaptor to arrive).

I have access to FTP the files over ethernet, so that is no problem for me, but, would the saves work on the new HDD??

My eeprom.bin has been nulled already by following Mr. Marios tutorial on Youtube by the way.

Please let me know what you guys know please! Thank you all! ;)

I belive that the game saves are stored on E Drive but cant rember if in the TDATA or UDATA folders. Copy Both and save to new drive and you should be good. You could copy to a memory card and transfrer back to new drive that way as well.

I know the save states are in the UDATA folder. Do I still need to copy the TDATA folder to the new drive? Thanks SS Dave! ;)

If you're upgrading your HDD using Chimp, then your save games will be copied over from your old drive anyway. I made the mistake of NULLing my HDD key after I'd been playing some games, and lost all my progress. Rookie mistake!

OK, thanks prodigy, it doesn't yet matter though, because I have plenty of time waiting for my Sata to IDE adaptor to arrive. 2 months in average for any package to reach me here in south america :)

I think by within a decade from now, I might just become the next Budda hahahhha LOTS of training in pacience, etc.

Cheers to all and thank you all.
