Spear of Destiny homebrew port availability?

Does anyone know where I can get Spear of Destiny 1 and 2? I actually own the original Floppy disks for this game which I've backed up to hard drive so I don't need the WADs just the homebrew port to run them.

An old favourite game of mine.

Those sound familiar. When I did the Homebrew synopsis, I remember those being in the description of something. I'll look tomorrow.

 

There are a handful of Wolf3d ports, I was confused while making the list. Th0mas, XtecuterX73, A600, Wolf3s, Andre, all worked on them.

Yea Spear of Destiny was a Wolf 3D offshoot, similar game, but really cool.

You can try with DosXbox for Spear of Destiny or you can play the ECWolf Tech Demo on your PC. It's a much better game.

They are standalone versions/ports of Wolf3d that run the SoD files.  I have them installed on my console, quite good fun games as it goes. Obviously very heavily strewn with Nazi symbols etc due to the story and setting but if that doesn't bother you then I would suggest giving them a go.

There was a port of SoD that ran on the Wolf3D engine on the classic Macintosh; probably a level mod that someone did, as SoD wasn't released for the Mac (I think. I believe it was a hobbyist port). I don't know if the level format on the Mac is compatible with the PC or any other port, as the programmers didn't use WL6 files. I think they were resource files, but I could be wrong. It's been years since I played around with WolfEdit and Wolf3D for the Mac.
