Can an Iso Be Created From Modded XBox Game On the Hard Drive?

More curious than want to put into practice but after I load a game from disk onto the Xbox Hard Drive, it might be nice to create an ISO as a backup if the game disk fails.  I was thinking some kind of program on a PC connected via the network to the Xbox.

I may not have been clear enough.

I know I can create an ISO with DVD2Xbox while the disk is in the DVD Drive.

What I want to do is recreate a disk from the hard drive install of a game where the disk has gone bad.

Example: Halo is loaded on the hard drive and plays fine.  I want to create an ISO from that installation (not from a disk).  Is that possible?

Awesome!  Just reproduced my Crash Bandicoot tW0C disk from an FTP'd directory and used C-XBox Tool 2 to make a disk and it works perfectly!  Thanks again.

Also, Qwix 1.01 can create an XISO format disc image from the game's fileset downloaded/saved on the PC in a subdirectory.  You choose Create ISO from folder, browse to the subdirectory on the PC HDD that contains all the files the click Create ISO to  the creation function.  You'll be prompted to select a destination for the <game>.iso file.

Looks like you can select an FTP Folder on an Xbox as the source of the fileset too.  Don't think this'll be very fast.  I've always used the Local Folder option.

Fairly sure there was another app back in the day that we used to doctor Halo to remove the Live update and put custom files in it. I can remember going to a LAN party where we all played the modded maps, almost everyone had discs
