Ernegien
This might interest those that want to turn their retail/debug Xbox into a fully-functioning development kit without having to spend $500+ on one. It works on any version 1.0 through 1.2 motherboard and can be great for troubleshooting crashes of all kinds without requiring the use of XDK software. I'm selling pre-made units for $30 plus shipping and would also like to get a feel for how many might want one in Europe so I can bulk-ship to a distributor to help save some on shipping costs as it's usually around $15 USD to ship from the US otherwise. Everything is fully open-source if you'd like to build/sell them yourself as well. Any questions, feel free to ask. https://github.com/XboxDev/serial-usb-adapter

corona2222
Just reading retail kits still need a hacked bios on them, does the modchip go between the LPC and this serial device, or can the serial device hold a hacked bios image? The serial adapter does not hold a BIOS. You need to flash the motherboard's TSOP with a debug BIOS (X2 5035, iND 5003 or 5004 for example with the debug option enabled in their respective configuration files) to use it. The original release of the serial adapter board had a problem of not working properly when connecting both it and a modchip stacked together. It has been awhile since I checked to see if that problem was fixed. As shipped by the developer, they did not have a stackable receptacle/pin header for internal adapter/modchip stacked installation.
tjd2
I wonder if you can stack this, modified Aladdin XT (AladdinLCD) to drive an LCD screen and actual modchip
