Down to 9.  I am currently in the hospital (for my Wife) so I may be a bit more slow to respond... but I will! (on a plus side... Our family has grown by one).  @roastedRingwormI haven't forgotten about you... and yours are set aside and not included in the 9.  I should get with you by the end of week (so far been extended 2 more days in the hospital)

What a cool little chip. I just extracted an eeprom from a rev 1.6 and then locked a new hdd with the extracted eeprom. Everything worked great and the pogo pins saved me a bunch of time.

What is the easiest way to match a HDD to a console ATM? Changing a console EEPROM by reading the HDD key, or changing the HDD key by reading the EEPROM?

Easiest is unlock the drive (if oem)(with picoPromSD… if WD, or prometheOS (either type). Then use picoPromSD to grab eeprom and lock drive with Fatxplorer

You wouldn't happen to have any more of these for sale still would you? I pulled some Xbox's from storage and they have dead drives. Would love to bring them back to life.

I found an old Pi4 that I had knocking about and that got the job done anyway.

Yea.  Makes sense and I figured that was the case   Just wanted to ping ya just in case

so... I now have 2 for sale (1 new, 1 refurbished).  I will be selling the refurb at $20.  functions great, just some minor defects now on solder mask. Somehow the RP2040 chip got fried (which is what I suspected).  replaced it... functions fine now
