Eject and Power Button

No schematic :( just tracing back the signals from the front panel myself.  I really need to put them into a schematic though.

PIC processor pins used for interfacing with the front panel circuit board:

Power_Switch - pin 18 - Input
Eject_Switch - pin 5 - Input
Green_LED - pin 3 - Output
Red_LED - pin 2 - Output

Power Supply Unit signals:

PSU Power_OK - pin 17 - Input
PSU Power_ON - pin 16 - Output

The Green_LED and Red_LED outputs connect to drive transistors on the bottom side of the motherboard near the front panel connector.  These transistors are used as the PIC processor output pins cannot deliver enough current to power the LEDs.

The PIC processor controls the power on/off operation of the console.  Update: PSU connector pinouts at the Wayback machine are here.

I'd generally say go to diy.sickmods.net to check for more info however the domain is not resolving right now.  :(

Wayback Machine capture available here.

Note: The PIC pins are not tied directly to the front panel circuit board. There is some circuitry between the Power and Eject switches and LEDs.

I located a broken/corroded trace along the front edge of the board.  I ran a jumper wire from that last resistor prior to the drive transistors to a distant point on the board along that trace, and it now works properly.  I found those hi-res scans especially helpful, as figuring out where some of those traces ran on an populated board was proving to be next to impossible.
