OG XBOX bios 5713? V1.5? Is this as close as one can get ?

Have you removed the link from pin2 and ground and tested pin 2 for a short to ground and tested pin 9 for 3.3 volt..

Would you like a copy of that ultra rare bios file that was extracted from a Australian Halo Xbox dated 2003

Can anyone else confirm this??

I have repaired several 1.4 consoles, but this one is not a 1.4.

This console was modded previously according to the v1.5 aladdin mod.

It has bios 5713.

Yet it comes up as a 1.4.

Only Xblast OS shows it as 1.4/1.5.

Modchip: Unsupported.

See? Even XBlast knows the Aladdin sucks. :P

There is no such thing as a v1.5 motherboard.  User error measuring signals present on the LPC Debug port.

The picture with the green wires is of the motherboard.

and somebody took the time to run ground and a 3.3v wire.

So if its missing ground and 3.3v, its a unofficial V1.5 that shows up as a V1.4 ...... ????

But there are no V1.5 because no chips were burned as V1.5.

sorry, my AI logic just crashed. Can't handle information loop.....  :(

I suspect the board has or had a gold coloured clock cap and the installer assumed it was a 1.5 and added the 2 extra links be cause they didn't bother testing it 1st.

I also don't understand why write 1.5 on the board and chip as the Aladdin comes with a bios that is compatible with all versions of OG Xbox ( 1.0 - 1.6 )..

So it's a 1.4 then there has been posts on here and on Reddit with people swearing they have modded heaps of 1.5's but when asked to prove it like you just did they never return. In the 1st YouTube clip I watched the person was showing how to test for a 1.5 he then his meter set to ohm's and then had one probe on the screw hole and the other on pin 1 (LCLK) and saying this proves it a 1.5..

It also made no sense to write 1.5 on the chip and the MB..

As you now have the HDD soft-modded why not add the links to R7D10 and R7D1 then re-flash the onboard bios with cerbios.
