I need some help on getting the flasher to work with the TSOP. I can read the TSOP (which is empty). But each time I start to flash I get this error: Pins Detected Passed! Erase ...Succeeded. Time : 0.406 S Programming FLASH ... Programming ...Failed I have added the W49F020T-90B by hand which is the same like the W49F020 which is supported by the programmer (But the W49F020 will fail as well). Even if i disable "Check ID" I get the same error. I have made a quick video and some pictures. I'm out of ideas what I could try next to get the damn bios on the winbond (if it's even possible). Pictures of the TSOP and adapter : https://imgur.com/a/mm5sTqw Video of me getting bitch slapped (each time) by the programmer telling me "NOPE!". (Sounds more funny as it is tbh.) : (link) https://youtu.be/7kPO-TZjkic

https://youtu.be/5V48rYfqE6E This guide is a start to finish how to softmod a xbox (upgrade a softmodeded hdd too) and also how to TSOP flash any xbox (excluding mb v1.6) including flashing winbond & sharp tsop chips. All the files needed are included in the video description. I DIDNT MAKE ANY OF THE TOOLS FULL CREDITS GO TO THE DEVS, I just collected them all in one place.

Hi Team, After successfully hard modding a v1.2 with a Hynix chip. I thought, why have one modded XBOX when you can have two. The second unit is a 1.4 with Winbond chip. Whenever I try and flash the BIOS (Tru3HeXEn 2021), it tries to start and then immediately errors out. The error window is blank. I also noticed in the Tru3HeXEn main window it shows 'Chip:Protected'. I have triple checked the solder points and they look fine to me. I wanted to toss it out to the forum to see if anyone has run into this before (do some boards just not want to cooperate?) and if there was a resolution other than alternate points or trying a mod chip ( I have an Aladdin XT mod chip, but was saving that in case I came across a v1.6). Thanks!

I was just wondering if this was possible/advisable and if anyone had done it themselves? Older Chimp versions, up until Chimp 261812 used the Gentoox loader. I never bothered to ask at the time about the other menu options there were and if they worked, including the Flash BIOS option. As I still have archived and installed copies on a couple of less used Xboxes it seems like as good a tool to use as anything else but it is OK and safe to do.

Hello, I recently got two broken Xboxes and was able to build a working console from both. The Xbox has a softmod and I'm thinking about flashing the bios. How do I do that best? It is a XBOX version 1.4 (Winbond) and I would like to transfer everything via FTP, because I don't have a DVD burner. I have read something about HeXEn and Tsop but I am now rather confused. Can I also bottle the Bios over FTP, if so how? Do I have to remove the softmod and is it still possible via FTP after flashing? Thanks in advance.
