Removing the delay from the window where the game video is running without it blinking when loading every time you make a move, or at least make the video appear before the slider goes down completely

I've got a tsop flashed v1.4 xbox with a 2 terabyte drive installed using a Startech IDE to Sata converter. After the initial Evox Xbox boot screen it takes a little over a minute to boot up into Unleash X. Is this normal or am I missing something? Thanks
