  1. Xbox Alpha Kit/Durango. It was sent out to developers of launch titles when the Xbox Dev/Debug hardware was delayed. ======================================================================================================= Xbox Development Kit (XDK) Final Version of the XBOX DEV Kit. It included a SCSI connection in the back to connect to a PCI card in a PC to emulate the dvd drive. Otherwise, it is the same functionally as a Debug Kit. DVT4 on the left. DVT3 on the right with prototype metal jewel. ======================================================================================================= Debug Kit Units Available: Unknown Retail Price: Not for resale Xbox Debug Kits were never available through the retail market, however they have popped up enough on the second-hand scene to be worth mentioning in this article. These Xbox consoles are translucent green and have the words "Debug Kit" on the front of the case, just to the right of controller port 4. Unlike retail consoles (which only contained 64MB of RAM), Xbox Debug Kit consoles had 128MB of RAM. The Debug Kits could not run retail game discs. One could often find pre-release or cancelled versions of game software on these Xbox Debug Kits. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xbox_(console)_special_limited_editions ======================================================================================================= 2001 Launch Team Edition Retail Price: Not For Sale Units produced: ~1000 The Xbox Launch Team 2001 Special Edition is a translucent green Xbox with a jewel that is silk screened with the message "Great work!" and a copy of a printed signature from Bill Gates. The words "Special Edition" are printed on the front right of the console. This Xbox was sold, not given, to members of the Xbox launch team including Hardware, ATG, Dev, First Party Games and Games Studios, Marketing, and others. Two exclusive translucent green "Duke" controllers were included. Along with the console, employees had an option to purchase 6 game titles marked "not for resale" at a reduced rate from the Microsoft campus store. The Launch Team 2001 consoles were hardware revision 1.0 and all were produced in a Mexico production facility on November 7, 2001 or November 8, 2001. Since these systems were offered for sale to qualifying employees instead of being given away, not all were sold. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xbox_(console)_special_limited_editions ======================================================================================================= Partner Edition Retail Price: Not For Sale Units produced: ~1000 (Thought to be closer to 60 units) The Partner Edition is a translucent green Xbox with a jewel that is silk screened with the message "Thanks for Partnering with Xbox" and signature from Bill Gates. Unlike the Launch Team consoles, these did not have the "Special Edition" label on the front right of the console. This Xbox was given to hardware companies that produced components for the Xbox such as Nvidia and Intel. A translucent green Controller S was included with this model. These are considered to be more rare than the Launch Team console because of their distribution to companies rather than individual people makes them harder to come across in the world. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xbox_(console)_special_limited_editions ======================================================================================================= 50 Cent BulletProof Units Available: 1 Retail Price: Not For Sale The 50 Cent Pure White Edition Xbox was given away in a promotion by Australian television channel Channel V. It was signed by 50 Cent and is aesthetically similar to the Pure White edition but has "50 Cent Bulletproof" printed in gold to celebrate the release of the video game 50 Cent: Bulletproof. It was given away along with a copy of the game, 50 Cent CDs and a 50 Cent poster.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xbox_(console)_special_limited_editions ======================================================================================================= 50 Cent BulletProof 2 This is the second version of the 50 Cent Bulletproof Xbox. One was released in Australia & one in New Zealand. Thank you Carl Coran. ======================================================================================================= Units Available: 1 Retail Price: Not For Sale The Atari Edition Xbox was given away at the Leipzig Game Convention in 2004, It is one of a kind and is orange in color. Attendees needed to collect all 5 pins that Atari gave away, which spelled ATARI.[9] If the attendee was able to find all 5 pins, they could be entered into the contest, with the winner receiving the one-of-a-kind orange Atari Edition Xbox, an Atari T-shirt, headband, wristband, Atari bracelet, and the original 5 pins. [10] It is worth noting that the Atari Xbox began as a standard black Xbox which was later airbrushed by Atari.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xbox_(console)_special_limited_editions ====================================================================================================== Conkers Xbox console, 3 made for a Conkers tournement in Sydney Australia. As you may imagine, if you're a high level executive delivering a product you may have to call in a few special favors along the way. What better thank you to certain people than a personalized xbox thank you note? ===================================================================================================== Halo 2 (Asia) Units Available: Unknown Retail Price: $249 On March 18, 2005, an Ice Blue Halo 2 Limited Edition Xbox was released in Canada and Asia. Pictures comparing the console to a Halo Translucent Green version have been posted at the Assembler forums.[6] This has been proven to be a legitimate system, and the thread at the Assembler forums show images of several of these orange Xbox case tops at the factory as production samples. It appears that only 1 of the Orange Xbox consoles escaped destruction. As this is an actual Microsoft produced Xbox from a mold (instead of a painted case), this is likely to be the rarest Xbox console in existence. A video can be seen on YouTube, on the channel "MetalJesusRocks", titled "Ultra Rare HALO XBOX DISCOVERED!" posted on April 24, 2015. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xbox_(console)_special_limited_editions The previous owner (Emilio) sold it(for $15,000.00), got $9K upfront and opened his own gaming consignment shop. He is still waiting for the remainder of the cash. But the new owner is some girl who owns a competing gaming consignment shop. It's a museum of sorts, but not like you'd think. It's currently located in Renton WA http://assemblergames.com/l/threads/2001-launch-team-xbox-how-many.62327/page-2 ================================================================================================= Units Available: 1300 Retail Price: ¥35,800 JPY On December 19, 2002, a Panzer Dragoon Orta Special Edition Xbox was released in Japan to commemorate the release of Panzer Dragoon Orta on the Xbox. The console's special features included a white case with the Panzer Dragoon Orta logo on the top in the lower left hand corner, as well as some artwork from Orta surrounding the Xbox jewel. Unit was only available to those who preordered on Nov 1, 2002, through Sega Direct. Included with the Special Edition console was a matching white Controller S, an Xbox Component A/V cable, an Xbox Component AV pack, a copy of Panzer Dragoon Orta with its soundtrack CD, and a dragon head necklace. When the console was first planned, 3,000 units were set to be produced, but during production the process of applying the silk screen design of the black lines seen on the top of the console proved to be a very difficult task. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xbox_(console)_special_limited_editions ================================================================================================= Pure White Units Available: 1,000 Retail Price: Unknown The Pure White Xbox was only sold in Japan with the option to engrave up to 20 letters.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xbox_(console)_special_limited_editions ================================================================================================= Skeleton Black Units Available: 50,000 planned - 10,000 sold Retail Price: ¥35,800 JPY In 2001, a Clear Black Limited Edition Xbox (also commonly referred to as the "smoke" edition) was released in Japan to commemorate the Xbox's Japanese release. It appears to have been a gift given out at a company party. It is most likely full of roaches... wherever it is. ================================================================================================= Tony Hawk's Underground 2 Units Available: 10 Retail Price: Not For Sale The Tony Hawk's Underground 2 Special Edition Xbox was issued in October 2004 in conjunction with Activision and online skater magazine caughtinthecrossfire in the United Kingdom. This special edition console was only available as a winner's prize at skateboarding and gameplay competitions to commemorate and promote the release of Tony Hawk's Underground 2 on the Xbox. The artwork was airbrush painted by hand in an urban graffiti style with translucent matte lacquer finish. The artwork covered the top of the case and followed the X shape downwards on the corners of the Xbox. A very limited production run of 10 graffiti style units was commissioned and was issued "Not For Resale". Included with the THUG2 Special Edition console was a matching Crystal Controller S and a Tony Hawk autographed copy of Tony Hawk's Underground 2. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xbox_(console)_special_limited_editions ================================================================================================= Translucent Green (Not Halo or Debug) Units Available: 20,000 Manufactured - 5,000 sold (Europe) Retail Price: €229/£149 On May 2, 2003 a Translucent Green Limited Edition Xbox(rare) was released in Europe to celebrate Xbox's one-year European birthday. The console came with two matching Controller S and retailed for €229/£149. It had a limited manufacture of 20,000 units but only sold 5,000 units(in Europe). The green Controller S was also sold separately. The Translucent Green Limited Edition Xbox was also released in Canada and came with one matching Controller S and two games, Crimson Skies and Project Gotham Racing 2. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xbox_(console)_special_limited_editions ================================================================================================= Units Available: 200,000 Retail Price: $200 USD On April 2, 2004, Microsoft issued a press release announcing the upcoming retail availability of the Halo Limited Edition Xbox combo.[5] The Xbox console and its included S Controller were translucent green with "Halo" written on the front of the console, at the right hand side, near controller port 4. This unit appears very similar to the Translucent Green "Debug Kit" Xbox consoles, only replacing the words "Debug Kit" with the "Halo" logo.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xbox_(console)_special_limited_editions ================================================================================================= World Racing Units Available: 6 Retail Price: Not For Sale The World Racing Xbox was only given away in Germany in a contest.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xbox_(console)_special_limited_editions ================================================================================================= EA Xbox Live White` Quantity: 30 This Special Edition console was given to Electronic Arts to celebrate their support of the nascent XBOX Live service. I am told there are 60 of the controllers that match in existence, and two came with the console. If these numbers are correct, this indicates that only 30 of these consoles were ever produced.http://imgur.com/gallery/ETwhl MSN Crystal Quantity: 1? This special edition was only recently discovered. Nothing is known about it for certain. It was most likely part of MSN's gaming zone offering.
  2. Hey all. It’s time I start to get rid of some of my pickups over the past year or so. I have around 25 or so, fully working consoles that have all been cleaned and modded. Clock caps removed on all boards under 1.6. I have all different sizes of HDDs in both SATA and IDE from 80GB up to 2TB. SATA options will include the needed adapters and 80 wire cables from Kekule. Everything under 1.6 is TSOP or has a mod chip. Most chips are xecuter 2.3 & 2.6. Prices of course will vary depending on HDD size and type and wether they have a chip or not. Most of them are empty mods waiting for games and emulators of your choice. I can also add those if needed. Again everything is tested and working and will be a clean, fresh mod, without old game saves and such. Couple of these are Crystal edition. For those that just want soft mods, that can be arranged too if you’re not capable or don’t have the necessary tools to do so. I also have 3-4 PAL PSU in different models for those that acquire imports and need replacements LEDs are also optional for controller ports. I also have some pretty cool spare parts that don’t pop up very often. I’d much rather let them go here than dump them on FeeBay. Located in Virginia, USA. Feel free to send a DM or post here directly. Everything needs to go, but I’m not doing lowball deals.
  3. My 1.6 Halo edition that I put my Aladdin in is stable at 827MHZ. And shows it in XBMC and wherever else. My X3 console will work too, and I believe it's a 1.4. All my other consoles will not ackknowledge the overclock. They just ignore it and stay at 733. This is extremely annoying. I would like to overclock any console I want, but it's not behaving consistently, which is a problem I have not heard of. Does anybody know why XBOverclock would work for some consoles and not others? Edit: Let me be ridiculously specific since, again, it seems some people have a hard time understanding my English: Does anybody know why some consoles would continue to operate at stock speeds and ignore the overclock and why some will accept it and the overclock will actually take?
  4. I have two consoles for sale. First one is a Japanese smoke/skeleton with the following: recapped 1.4 motherboard recapped power supply 128MB ram upgrade Xbox HD+ HDMI Open Xenium 2TB HDD - Brand new retail drive with warranty Startech SATA adapter Chimeric Systems 80 wire ide cable MCPX heatsink blue/red led front panel(OEM panel with led replacements) Working Thomson DVD with new belt. Cannot guarantee longevity. TSOP is flashed with M8 Plus as a backup Asking $750 shipped Second one is a regular crystal with the following: 1.6 motherboard 128MB ram upgrade Open Xenium 200GB IDE drive blue/red led front panel(OEM panel with led replacements) Flaky Samsung DVD that works sometimes and mostly does not. Does have a crack in the button surround Asking $350 shipped - price is due to the work involved with the 128MB ram upgrade. I can also change things up on the crystal if you want a different hard drive or HD+ installed, recap work etc.
  5. Hey everybody. After a dozen years and 450-500 systems, I need to make a lot of space and I'm making my exit. Tested and itemized to the best of my ability, here's what's left after the past few months of purging. I'm located in the western burbs of Philly and would prefer not to ship, obviously, but buyer pays shipping/packaging if so. Everything is 100% negotiable. Everything is AS IS. The complete consoles are mostly Frankensteined, because like many of you I would buy dozens at a time sight unseen from the usual places, some arriving partially modded. Will also be posting on the FB group, where I've posted and lurked for years. Xbox ("complete") -2001-11-13 ($40) TSOP, runs hot, boots unlocked drives but behaves erratically, DVD board is dead -2002-09-18 ($25) TSOP, clock cap removed, no video output, DVD drive *may* work -2002-08-28 (v1.0) ($20) For parts, no video output, no PSU, DVD board is dead -2002-12-23 ($65) softmodded, clock cap removed, winbond, working Samsung DVD drive, needs recap near CPU Xbox (incomplete) -2001-12-11 ($20) 1.0 w HDD, Bottom shell/cage, no PSU, no top shell, no DVD -1.6 ($10) board + HDD, w/ Delta PSU ONLY Peripherals remotes, tons of IR receivers (2) OEM AV cables (4) 3rd party AV cables NEW (2) 3rs party power cables NEW Controllers (FULLY TESTED WORKING) (5) Duke ($21/ea) (3) S - black .. one needs L3 top, will ship w new thumbsticks (19/ea) (3) S - blue ($23/ea) (2) S - green ($23/ea) (1)third party long breakway green cable (1)third party short breakway green cable Nuby arcade stick ($35) Controllers (WITH ISSUES – no breakaway included) $7/ea (1) Duke – L3/R3 wonky/broken (1) S - black – iffy cordset (1) S - black – stuck L (1) S - black – White/Black stuck (1) S - black – Back & Start stiff (1) GameStop – dead Y button (1) Pelican – blue, bad R3 Controllers (FP and "Dead" – no breakaway included) $5/ea (4) S - black ..(1) board and shelll only (1) eclipse S, black FP/As-Is wireless ($6/ea) (2) green digital labs + receiver Orange madcats + receiver Eclipse/Pelican PL2006 receiver MISC PARTS Drives Samsung - dead board HL - no board, no tray Thompson - complete, functioning??? 6. See here... The guy claims to have "stacked" the ram chips but is yet to supply any photo proof. He said this "You're damn right. I just finished all 4 chips and the X3 bios detects it and all is good :)" so seems to have succeeded. If so this is a world first , yeah??
  7. Hi There! I have 4 ultimately identical original Xboxes, all with clock capacitors removed, all TSOPed less for one has a Aladdin XT due to a bad TSOP flash, all with a IDE-> SATA, 80 pin IDE cables and a 1TB Drive. The drive comes pre-images with Xbmc4gamers and a variety of content (the drive is nearly full). The DVD drives in all 4 are non-functional and in some cases removed completely. Each console comes with two controllers, power, AV and a IR adapter. The drives have a full backup of everything stored in a folder (eeprom, hdkey, bios dump, etc.) and raindrop installed so you can re-flash with your preferred bios / bios configuration. They are excellent base consoles to get into a modded OG Xbox if say you wanted to put a much larger drive and the newly released bioses. I'm in the US and will only ship to the US at actual cost. I'm asking $150 per bundle. If interested please DM me and I will throw them on eBay (for both of our protections) and we can close the deal! Thank You! Edge-`
  8. Hi all, just thought I’d post 3 mods I just finished. What you think?
  9. I have two OG XBOX consoles and I'd like to get them up and running again if possible. One unit powers on but shows an error 7 and the other powers on and reaches the dashboard but will not read any disc I put into the drive(There is also no message about not being able to read the disc either). What steps should I take to get started with a repair? Is either unit a lost cause? I know I'm probably leaving out important info but hopefully this can get me going.
  10. Located in Sweden but I ship worldwide. Have four original XBOX base units that I need sell to clear some room here http://www.amibay.com/images/smilies/smile.gif I have replaced the harddrives in all of them with bigger harddrives and flashed the BIOS with a custom BIOS. All of the units work flawlessly EXCEPT the DVD drives in them which is a common problem with the original XBOX, sometimes they have problem ready discs or close or eject the tray. This can be an easy fix, there are tons of helpful tips on the internet to solve this by for example cleaning and lubricating them, replacing the drive belt or calibrating the laser. The units and prices are as follows: XBOX unit #1 Version 1.6 SmartXX V3 chip with custom BIOS (can hold several BIOS'es) 500GB IDE Harddrive €60 XBOX unit #2 Version 1.0 TSOP'ed with custom BIOS 80GB IDE Harddrive €35 XBOX unit #3 Version 1.1 TSOP'ed with custom BIOS 500GB IDE Harddrive €45 XBOX unit #4 Version 1.6 Softmodded 1TB SATA HDD €50 All the units are in good condition for it's age, I can provide you with pictures and screenshots if there's a need. Buyers pays for postage and shipping.

  15. Hi , I would like to buy some "cheap practice" xboxes to do various mods on them. also would like some wireless logitech controllers without paying an unrealistic high amount for them. Preferably from belgium (because that would remove possible expensive shipping costs) but if its affordable to ship from somewhere else then its fine by me.
  16. I just discovered this emulator, and can someone tell me how to just show Neo Geo games, without having to choose it from the list of supported systems list? Also, does it support video previews? Where would I be able to get more skins?
