  1. Hey all, This might be a foolish thought, but would it be possible to create an av cable that does both component out and vga out at the same time? I ask because if it were possible, it would be a very cheap an effective way to capture gameplay from an original xbox while playing. I was looking at this diagram for av pinouts and saw how similar they already were: https://imgur.com/odRIA8b I guess the only potential issue is that pins 9 and 10 are shorted for when its VGA and are not shorted when its component? Would be curious to hear from people more knowledgeable than myself.
  2. Hi everyone I bought a new monitor for my pc-ps2-xbox setup and it has HDMI and VGA input. I am using a little composite to HDMI converter but the quality is just horrible, so I was thinking about making a component to VGA cable (hoping my monitor supports sync on green) since I have some spare cables laying around. I couldn't really find anyone doing this kind of thing (except coupl of viedos) but saw some being sold online, so I assume it vould work. Anyone knows how to wire such a cable? Do you suggest to try it out or to buy an RGB to HDMI converter? Thank you!
  3. As above really, After trying a Pound HDMI converter and finding it lacking I was looking for a OG box component lead to get the most out of these little gems. But the only ones I can see on Ebay are the £5 jobies which may or may not be shielded but prob not.... such as these: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/273917043356 So anyone know where I can get one? Ime fine with 3rd party stuff and dont mind paying upto £20-30 but I aint paying the asking prices of the originals lol
  4. So yes, guys that is my question, please help me here. I am trying to buy an original component xbox 360 cable, to then build an Xbox component cable (using a tutorial from the forum). I live in south america and buying internationally is not an option (2 to 3 months of wait). Could this be an original 360 component cable? Don't laugh if is not, it looks kinda of in bad shape, but it has a similarity to my composite cables for the OG Xbox. It the ONLY one I have found in my entire country (seller SAYS it's original):
