About Me

  1. I want to buy xecuter 3 clear pro switch does anyone have one for sale dm if so.
  2. I have an Xecuter 2.3 Lite modchip, of which the external switch board has long been lost. How would I go about purchasing a replacement, or at least a compatible ext. board?
  3. Hello I almost completely fried my xecuter 3, so I'm in the market looking for a new one. Thanks
  4. Looking for X3 chips, Control Panels, etc. Plus, if itˋs new in the package and unopened. If the planets align, that is.
  5. I'm looking for a replacement sticker for the X3 BIOS bank selection switch or a replacement switch if anyone has one spare in the UK? I am also looking for an Xecuter XLCD kit to complete my X3 install (this isn't a huge loss if I can't buy one and I don't mind going down the DIY route for this if nobody has one they want to sell - I've had some great advice from the XBOX-SCENE guys regarding what parts to buy). Please let me know if you can help. Thanks.
  6. I'm looking for a video released by Team Xecuter sometime in the early 2000s made to promote the durability of their solderless adapter, the Xapt3r. The video shows a couple guys throwing an Xbox with an Xapt3r installed down a flight of stairs, followed by them immediately powering the console on to see that it still functions perfectly. I'm trying to track this video down for archival purposes, and I remember seeing it relatively recently although I was not able to find it again. Many thanks.
  7. Hi, I managed to snipe an Xecuter 3 for about $100 and an LCD for it, but I'm missing the Bios bank that they usually come with. Is there a way to make a custom bank as an alternative or are there any dip switch banks that can imitate the same thing? Thanks!
  8. hi so i have an xbox 1.0 with a xecuter 2.6 chip installed i get an error 16 on boot but when i try to boot truhexen 2020 i end up with a frag light (might have orange too) after it displays "Linux" any ideas to boot it? has a thompson drive btw
  9. I'm looking for the vanity PCB/sticker piece for this X3 switch. It's mighty ugly without it.
  10. I bought an xbox on ebay and now I noticed somethings I didn't before. Can anyone identify what is in the picture. I appoligize If this is in the wrong category this is my first post. In the first picture it is those 2 dots next to the disc tray. In the second picture it's the blue output. And in the third there appears to be something coming out of the controller. Also this was advertised as an xecuter 2 mod chipped xbox, and I paid $90.
  11. I have an xbox with a X3 CE chip installed with the attached bank switches. I was able to update to flashbios 3.0.1. Bank 1234: on on off off This xbox does not get passed the Xecuter boot screen when I short press the power button (chip enabled). If I long press the power button (chip disabled) I get code 13. If I long press the power button with an original xbox game in the DVD drive the game runs no issues. I am also able to reach the flashBios screen by long pressing the eject an power buttons together. I bought this xbox a while back and have been trying to make it work properly. I believe I'm missing another bios file but I'm really not sure. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
  12. Hey Guys, I'm going to try to compile the parts and hardware that Team Xecuter Created for the Original Xbox. Please Correct me if my Information is wrong. For those who don't know much about the hardware, I can talk about each one at the bottoms of the picture but here's a brief explanation of these valuable work of art. Xecuter 3 Control Panels were a replacement for the original xbox face plate. which is only compatible with the Xecuter 3 Modchip. These were the bigger upgraded accessory that brought full compatibility to their Modchip which includes a built in XLCD, two USB Ports, Push Button Bank Select with LAN (Local Area Network) and HDD (Hard Drive) Led indicators. The Panel also has the X3 Logo to light up for the status of the modchip. Above is a small Red IR Placement for anyone that bought Xecuter X3IR Accessory. These Panels are very hard to come by and very sought after to even the heaviest of collectors on the market. Compatible with: - Xecuter 3 Infra Red Kit (Turn your Xbox On/Off with the Xbox Remote) - Xecuter 3 CE Modchip (Christmas Edition White & Red) - Xecuter 3 Modchip (Purple) - XBMC Dashboard (for the LCD) The Original Xbox has been Long out of production by Team Xecuter that most if not all Parts for Original Xbox are very hard to find. Xecuter 3 Control Panels Black (Solid) These Panels are the most common Among the Xecuter Panels. It matches the common basic black Xbox. I've seen these Sell nowadays around $500+ USD for the full console on eBay. but not too long ago these sold brand new in the box for $250USD. You will see these Panels pop up way more often than the others. The Black Panel Comes With a White X3 Logo, and the bios Bank buttons light up blue. Crystal (Translucent) These Panels are fairly rare but a lot harder to find than the black Panels. They were made to match the Limited Edition Crystal Original Xbox. From previous sales I have done with people these can range from $300 USD or higher for a panel. a full console will be more. The Crystal Panel Comes With a Black X3 Logo, and the bios Bank buttons light up blue. Green (Translucent) These are the Second Rarest Xecuter Panel. These are quite sought after because they match the Halo Green Limited Edition Original Xbox. Very hard to come across anyone who wants to sell one. I've seen a brand new one on eBay go for $600USD. You don't see these on eBay very often anymore. The Green Panel Comes With a Black X3 Logo, this is the only panel with Green light up Bank select buttons. so if the buttons got damaged you have no other replacement other than finding another green panel. Blue (Translucent) Decided to save the best for Last. These in my books are considered Legendary. This is the Panel that matches the Halo 2 Ice Blue Limited edition Console and are extremely difficult to find. There has been people who have searched for years to get their hands on these Collectible items and most to all collectors will not sell them. I don't even know how much to price one nowadays. A full console in the past was around $800. The Blue Panel Comes With a White X3 Logo , and the bios Bank buttons light up blue. Now, on to the Pro Switches. Xecuter Pro switches were the replacement upgrade from the basic black bank selector that comes with the X3 modchip. They also have the red IR piece for the X3IR Accessory and the LAN and HDD Led indicators as well. This little piece clips on to the bottom middle front part of the original Xbox basic face plate which connects to the X3 modchip. The push Buttons light up blue, other than the green pro switch which lights up green. Pro switches cannot be used as replacement parts for the X3 Control Panel. There is no existence of a Blue Pro Switch. Xecuter 3 Pro Switches Black (Solid) Black Pro Switches are the opposite from the rarity of the panels but probably the hardest to find. There were many sources for Crystal and Green but not black. they were worth $20 USD on ebay at the time but there hasn't been many on there. Crystal (Translucent) Crystal Pro Switches were quite simple to find at the time but they sold out a while ago before the green did, there fore making them a little harder to find than the green. There were websites selling them for about around 15 Euro. Green (Translucent) Green Pro switches might still be in stock on very few sites right now but I have doubts that they're still there. They've blasted in price to 70.62 € brand new. Xecuter 3 Modchips These are simply the best mod chips on the market although there are other older Xecuter chips that are pretty good but I'm just only displaying the newer Xecuter Compatible with the X3 Pro Switch and the Xecuter Control Panel. Xecuter 3 (Purple) This is the older Version of the X3 Mod chip, with a purple front and back. Comes with 2MB of flash bios storage and a 256kb flash Recovery bios. this chip is a down grade from the newer one because it doesn't sit flat when installed and normally flipped on its backside and stuck with the adhesive sticker, also this is more compatible with older Xbox revisions with the parts it comes with. The V1.6 Xbox's require a 5V wire which is not the same connection like the newer chip which requires a clip on wire or soldered to the chip itself. I don't see these chips as often as the Newer X3CE Chip Xecuter 3 CE (Christmas Edition) This is the final Revision of the Xecuter Mod chips and the final production. This chips are the most sought after they have all basically all the same details as the Xecuter 3 Purple Chip. These chips used to sell used for $75 USD and $100 USD for a brand new one. Now they've raised in price for in the $200+. These are the best chips on the market and is the control system of all the Xecuter modded custom parts, They fit nicely installed on the board with the wires spread out. also comes with a V1.6 wire that just plugs in normally. Xecuter Xapt3rs Xapt3rs are solder-less methods for installing the Xecuter Mod chips, although you could probably install other mod chips with these as well. Xapt3rs light up with a blue led or red led display when installed. they usually screw into the Xbox motherboard. The problem with these is that LAN and HDD Led's don't work where the red, green and grey wire for the X3 Chip isn't needed and when installing them the older Xbox motherboard revisions have pre-soldered LPC already in the board and these wont sit nicely where the pin header is supposed to go. Xapt3r V1.0-V1.5' These Xapt3rs are harder to find now and are the best in my opinion where they are compatible with the majority of Xbox revisions. Depending on the seller these could be sold for a really high price. these cannot be bought online anymore. Xapt3r V1.6 These are possibly still available on the market for abut 15 Euro. One has been spotted on eBay for $175 USD. these are only compatible with Xbox v1.6 and more common than there other Xapt3r. Xecuter X3IR Kit X3IR Kits can still be found online but they are hefty in price for around 40 Euro. They are compatible with the Xecuter Control Panel and the X3 Pro switch but can be installed without one. These simply are used to turn your Xbox on and off with your Xbox remote but the kit requires basic soldering to function. X3IR kits are obsolete because of a newer chip was produce called the Xerc 2XE which gives the Xbox the same capabilities but you are able to eject your DVD drive and connect it to a DVD Dongle for remote menu control.
  13. I have an Xbox with a 2.6 but it’s missing the bank dip switch board and cable. Does anyone have one for sale?
  14. I was given a broken Xbox version 1.0 and I want to take that mod chip and put in in my 1.3 . the chip is explained in more detail in this post I’ve found on the forum It was previously installed SOLDERLESS with a spring pin head system you just line up and screw down. When I took it out of the Xbox I noticed a random wire that was stabbed into the board? dose anyone know if this has a purpose or if it’s a necessity ? many thanks in advance
  15. My family absolutely adores our original xbox. It was modded back in the day with an Xecuter v2.6 chip with is connected to the debug pins, and a few other misc spots. I didn't get to the clock chip in time, and corrosion ate through the tiny edge traces under the board. I've tried repairing it, but it's beyond me... once it warms up, it goes crazy on/off eject/close... I have another 1.0 motherboard and figured I could use that as a replacement, then cross the HDD Key when I got there. So I followed the pinout of the original motherboard and replicated its connections, installed the new motherboard in the original's case and sure enough, Code 6... So I softmodded the new mobo with its original HDD with the Rocky setup and null'd the hard drive. I swapped the HDD back to my original and still no good... I've read that hard-modded xboxes are capable of working better with non-locking HDDs, so I'm hoping there's something I can do to get this new motherboard communicating with my original hard drive. I really would like to keep the content that we have on there. Is there any hope? Thanks in advance!
  16. I got an xbox v1.0 motherboard with an xecuter 2.3 pro modchip that was not working. I took it apart and found the d0 wire was loose, so I resoldered that connection and hooked everything up and the system ran fine for about 4 hours, at which point I powered everything down and went to bed. this morning I go to power on the unit and the blue lights on the modchip light up and the fans spin for a second, but no lights on the front panel and nothing else happens. the capacitors on the power supply and near the psu connector on the motherboard all look fine. not sure what else to check, so any help would be appreciated. Also, the clock cap was removed before I got the xbox, presumably when the modchip was originally installed VID_20220223_031845379.3gp
  17. I am hoping someone has a saved copy or can lead me to a install guide for V2.6 ce mod chip on a 1.6 mb I have found some x3 installs but wanting to make sure I am correct. thank you in advance, Chooch
  18. Just picked up a really clean console from Goodwill with a well installed xecuter 2.6. Unfortunately I can’t get anywhere with it. Stock dash will not load when chip is off. Throws an error 16. I’ve tried locked and unlocked. Neither get passed error screen. With the chip on and in bank 2, it will boot in flashbios 3.0.3, but will not accept a bios in any way. There are two that appear to be saved on the HDD also. Every way I’ve tried so far either fails or says “bios update found… Halting!” And then nothing. Chip protection is off during all of this also
  19. So i have a 1.2-1.3 version Xbox that sometime 10-15 years ago i moded with a Chameleon solder-less chip. I used an Xecuter 2 bios and when it turns on it asks for a password. This was to keep my 7 college roommates from playing it all the time. Fast forward a decade later and I am cleaning it up and refreshing it, and i forgot the password. Any idea how to reset this? Plan is to clean the DVD drive (wont open), clean the case. 2TB Sata Drive, Startech SATA to IDE, OGX360 Internal (if anyone has one available) With that being the case, will I still run into this Xecuter Password assuming its a Bios on the Chip? I do have the original DVD I flashed the chip with. I have been reading a lot about Hexen, XBMC-emustation, and OGXbox Installer. Any insight on what route would be easiest?
  20. Hi, I recently installed a Xecuter X2.6CE modchip into a v1.4 console. Flashed the x2_4983.06_256k.bin Bios file to bank1 with FlashBios. It intitially worked but after restarting a second time the console no longer boots to the dashboard (2 restarts followed by no display(green/red) on both bank 1 & 2. If chip enable is off it still boots to stock dash/unleashx. I have tried reflashing with Xblast via HeXen and FlashBios but an "Flash Not Writeable" error appears whether the chip enable is on/off. I tested both top/bottom side D0 points. Any ideas on what I can try to reflash the chip? Thanks
  21. I just bought this used knowing the startup was a little finicky at times. Everything was working fine, but now on startup I get 4 clicking sounds and after 3 times it frags. When I turn off the modchip it boots into the blob just fine. can anyone point me in the right direction to resolve this problem? This is a crystal version: 2004-10-04, other than that I haven't found any other info.
  22. Hey there guys. I'm an og modder from the xecuter days and am looking to get back in the scene again. When I was in high school in 04, i started looking into xbox modding and discovered how awesome this console was. I was in the team-xecuter forums and a couple others I can't remember and posted frequently. I got my first xbox in december of 04 and installed an xecuter 3, an x3 control panel and a 250gb hard drive. The first time I saw the flashbios screen and flashed via http is literally one of the happiest memories of my life. I believe i used slayer's 2.4 installer. I put blue leds in the controller ports, an 80mm blue cathode ring under/around the jewel and blue leds in the clear controller dongles. It was a masterpiece and I was one stoked teenager. I modded other boxes in a similar fashion for friends and a few random people who became friends as a result. Sadly this xbox got stolen in 2008 and i never saw it again. This causes me pain to this day. I found an xecuter 3 box on ebay with a control panel and plan to make it just like my old one plus a few extra mods like the makemhz hdmi, extra ram and the 1.4ghz processor with the help of an interposer from n64freak, if he has any left. I know kekule is working on one as well as an xecuter 3 clone that i hope to help him finish and get into production over the next year or so. I've yet to meet the guy, so I may be getting ahead of myself, but I am hopeful! The xbox modding scene is one of my greatest pleasures and joys. Few things make me happier. If my plans come to fruition, I hope to become somebody in this community that everybody is familiar with and can rely on for anything. I also hope to gain some knowledge from other people here that will help me in my future endeavors. That would be pretty cool. SS Dave, you post everywhere and you are the man. N64freak, I fucking worship you and hope to be as skilled as you are pretty damn soon. Happy new year, guys.
  23. I have an old Xbox that has an Xecuter 2 chip installed, it still has the stock HDD so i'd like to upgrade it to a 500GB SATA. Weirdly I cannot physically see any chip soldered to the board, I can see some yellow wires going out the front of the console so i'm not sure if this is where the chip is located? (see pic). In any case I have downloaded the HeXen 2018 installation disc, and I have the necessary parts required to convert from IDE to SATA. Is this disc capable of setting up a HDD with this chip? I took a couple of pics showing my kernel and the fact my current HDD is locked:
  24. Is it possible to repair xecuter modchip by replacing actel IC, if any programming necessary? I plugged the chip backwards, made some crackling sounds, but no explosions or magic smoke.

XCM IDE cable cannot be removed from Hard Drives(will result in damage to the IDE cable) IceBerq 4 Pros are fans noisy (due to age) FYI: If console fails to boot on arrival means the pin from the Xapt3r has fallen out, the bank select button was switched in transfer or chip has come loose (you can still access the inside). Keep in mind when taking the console apart or modifying it by any means do not remove IDE cables from the hard drives, they're basically plugged in permanently. I like to keep customers up to date to know what they are buying if you have any questions please ask. Selling as is.
