ok so i have a tsop xbox currently i have unleashx set up as my main dash, with a shortcut to xboxmc4gamers which is where i load my games. is it possible install xboxemustation so that i can still use the XBMC4GAMERS shortcut for my games but then go into the applications section of unleashx to load emu station if i wanna use emulators below is a pic i pulled off google that shows how my dash is set up if so how do i do this so i dont boark my xbox

Hi, I've seen some time ago that it is possible to run multiplayer only games by "fooling" them that Xbox live is running. I remember some topic about that on this forum but can't find it. It was about some game and playing it on empty server. Anyone could point it to me? Thanks.

when i try to load burnout 3, it comes up with a blue loading bar and freezes when the bar fills. it locks up my whole xbox and i have to power cycle it, L R start and select won't even reset it. the system is hard modded and the game is installed on the hdd. any idea what's going on?

Hey Guys, since a few days i'm having problems with my Xbox. It randomly doesn't boot anymore and just hangs on the xecuter rox my Box Screen. When I try to boot i again a few hours later, sometimes it Boots without problems and on Other occasions it hangs again. I am using xbmc4gamers as Dash through a shortcut xbe. The BIOS ist x5035. I love my Xbox and would be very thankful for any Help.

Underclocked 1ghz Xbox to 735mhz by patching the bios to 107mhz FSB (using XBoverclock by WulfyStylez). It fixed GTA Vice City and Rallisport 2, which XBEpatcher (by mwaterbu) did not manage to fix. Not sure if works for all games, but seems like it should. This probably could be loaded by Phoenix Bios Loader or can be on a modchip bank, waiting to be selected when needed.

i'm ftp'ing a bunch of games to my xbox. it has auto shutoff twice now and it is kind of annoying. how do i stop it from shutting itself off?

2 of the 3 original xbox controllers I bought a few weeks back off of a ebay arent working, everything feels fine but the xbox doesnt seem to realize theyre plugged in even if I swap out the break away cables. Not really sure what could be causing this other than a guess that its the wire itself. Any tips on how to repair or replace the issue so these work?

SO when I turn it on, it starts and stops a few times before it finally gets going and then when it does I get no image or sound and the light just flashes red and green. At first I thought it was my IDE adapter on my new hard drive, but when I replaced the unnamed brand one with a startech it still did it. To be clear, my xbox DOES work if I keep fucking with the power button and I can play games normally (Have not extensively tested to see if it randomly shuts off or anything after a long period of time. Anyone know what the problem could be?

hi, so i did a similar post yesterday about this. if you go to the ms dashboard and change the language there some games can be the language you pick. since i cant get to the ms dashboard bc there is not a option for me, is there another way i can do this?

I have a chip modded xbox that when powered up will go to the MS dash board. If you hold the power button down a few seconds it will activate the chip and will boot-up, turning the XBOX logo blue and if there is a game in the DVD drive it will load the game. If there is no game in the drive then it will go to the MS dash board. How do I get the Xbox to load the xbmc dash board when the mod chip is activated? I have tried Auto Installer Deluxe v 4.45 to install the dash boards from the disc to the E: retail hard drive but none have worked, when I re-start the xbox with mod chip activated it will go to the MS dash board. I have tried to use the Hexen 2018 installation disc, but the xbox will not read the disc. Please could someone help me to set up the dash board so that when the mod chip is activated it will boot to xbmc dash board? If you can help, please explain in simple terms because I am not good at these things, a total novice. Thank You.

So I've figured out how to get games downloaded on a 360 to work on a real Xbox. You might be interested in this if you get the Games With Gold titles, since they've had some pretty good ones in the past like Mercenaries and some of the Star Wars games, and Destroy All Humans is available right now. Do note that since we're dealing with Xbox 360 Marketplace here, the only real way to get these onto your console is through buying and downloading them, so Piracy really isn't a thing here. To begin, you will need two Xbox 360 tools: GOD2ISO and velocity-master. You'll also need a USB drive big enough to hold your game. You'll also have to enable the "show hidden files" setting in Windows Explorer. Start by copying the game to your USB drive from the Dashboard. Plug the drive into your PC. Go to Content > 0000000000000000 and you will see several folders. I've attached a picture of Halo 1's folder layout. Open that extensionless file in GOD2ISO and save a place to save your ISO file. Then use Velocity to extract your ISO to a new folder. From there, you should be able to FTP the folder over to your Xbox and play the game.

What should I do now? I got a copy of truehexen 2019 and Hexen 2018 here, trying to figure out what I should do from here to make it look nicer and get the most out of this. The chip I used is an Aladdin XT+4032

Hi guys after succesfully tsop my crystal og xbox 1.4 i was trying to re-install xbmc4gamer and when i try to install it in partition e i get an error of cannot copy D and is not working. Only way i found it to work is if i install it as an app but then im unable to have it on boot Anyone knows why? Forgot to say im using rocky tools extra disk for installing xbmc Thanks

not certain if this is the right section to ask this question in since it really isn't a repair but don't know where else to post. one of my xbox's i bought to repair has something on it that almost looks like spots of dried mud but it isn't cleaning off like mud so i don't know what it is. i have tried denatured alcohol and goof off but neither are very effective. those cleaners lighten the spots but don't remove them. what is a good cleaner that won't hurt the black plastic(and the green xbox jewel in the center)?

Can someone please explain not just what an original Xbox game 'redump' is but why it is done too? I ask because I've found several game download sites where everything is 'redump' rather than XISO or extracted files. I'd thought this was all to do with >4.7GB games but that is clearly not the case with some games I know are well under 4GB listed as 'redump' too. So I decided to download a game (BTW I do own the original disc) from one 'redump' archive which was about 3.6GB installed on the HDD. To start with the RARed download was 5.6GB so took a very long time on my BB speed. They all seem to be the same size too. Why? When unpacked you get an even bigger folder >7GB which XDVD Mulleter magically extracts the contents from to create a folder of about 3.6GB. This contains the Xbox game's folders and files you can either FTP or, being under 4.7GB, create an ordinary XISO with C Xbox Tool or Qwix and burn to disc. All works fine but what a bloody palaver. I could have downloaded an XISO (<3GB zipped) or the zipped/RARed file contents in half the time. So why are these smaller games also being provided as these oversize 'redumps'? It does not make a lot of sense to me so I'd like to understand.

Looking for help with my modded Xbox. I had this done by someone (can’t remember who) back in 2005/2006 and I haven’t started it up in over 5 years. I have tried a lot of button combos and it won’t boot up. It won’t even boot up in regular mode either. No matter what I do it turns on then Immediately shuts back off. It is a Halo edition with the X3 and control panel like the one pictured above. Any help would be appreciated. I'm a total newbie to soldering/electronics and I messed up while trying to replace the capacitor on my old xbox. I took a picture from underneath the motherboard and labelled which hole is positive and negative, and I'm trying to understand what my options are for getting a cap in there. For the record, I damaged the "via" rivets so the holes are damaged. Some people talk about scratching off the light green stuff to reveal the copper and attaching wires to it, to which a cap could go on the end? I'm really confused and would appreciate any help you could offer. First pic was the bulged caps. Damaged cap slot is on the far right. Next pic is of the underside of the 3rd cap slot. 3rd pic is from the top of the motherboard, same cap slot. I think the copper vias connecting the different layers in the board were damaged, as they came out with the cap that I had to remove (yes I'm dumb, got frustrated and had the temperature too high). What are my options here? Is there any way to go around this? Is it worth just filling in the holes with plenty of solder and installing the cap as normal? Really don't know what to do

Hi, I picked up a original Xbox off Facebook Marketplace the other day. After turning it on the light started blinking green and orange. I noticed it was modded. I have no knowledge in modding but it has a mod called unleashx or evolutionx with fce and neogensis. Fce and Neogensis have over 100 plus old games. When im playing a game disc the light does not blink and just stays green. When no disc is being used the light blinks green and orange. I was playing Tony Hawks Pro Skater 4 game for about an hour yesterday and it was running fine with fan running normally. Is the green and orange blinking something I should worry about? Also how can I fix the blinking?

Hey everyone, I've never actually owned an original Xbox myself. My uncle had one he got on launch day, but I only ever got to use it when I went to his house. Most of my time playing OG Xbox games has been on either a 360 or Xbox One. I've come here because I have some interesting research to share on the Xbox port of Half-Life 2. HL2 can actually run some custom maps if injected into the files the right way, and I and a few others in the Source engine community are trying to figure out exactly how to make it work. We've got Garry's Mod maps working in Cxbx, so running on hardware is the next step. I've known a bit of the Xbox Scene for a while by lurking on /r/originalxbox, so hopefully I'm not a complete noob.

I copied some emulators through ftp to the G partition of my HDD, I was using WinSCP for this. When I finished, I closed the connection and then reset my Xbox with Lt+Rt+Back+Black; I got the Bios screen, the UnleashX boot screen (I'm using a custom skin, so the skin version of the boot screen appeared) and then...nothing, just a black screen. First I thought the video was bad, but that was not the case, then I tried to boot on safe mode but nothing happened. Some people on a subreddit tell me to use Hexen to install another dashboard, I don't know if this is going to work tho. Please, if you know what's wrong with my Xbox let me know, I'm scared

Hello, I am currently getting red and green flickering artifacts on my screen with all games with my Xbox. Not sure what the problem is. I have tried multiple different AV cables, televisions, and games thinking thinking that might have been the problem. But, it seems there is some major graphical error wrong with my Xbox, and googling the problem has not been easy. Does anyone know if there is a fix Thanks, Sam
