Hey gang. So I’m wanting to upgrade my Hard drive and am about to install a project stellar mod chip with HDMI bundle. I have a version 1.0 motherboard. Any suggestions on good hard drives for me? I wanna download as many games and emulators as possible so I’d prefer a bigger hard drive. Also do you think a ram upgrade would be necessary?

Work in games and have every generation of XDK. However the original is one I know very little about. I think I messed with it like a decade ago and got the Neighborhood set-up but don't remember anything beyond that. Does anyone have an idiot-proof guide to getting this thing running retail games? I picked a bunch of JP titles up recently and really want to try them out. Apologies for the stupid questions but it's REALLY hard to find any information these days. The SEO on old Xbox stuff is terrible. Any help would be sincerely appreciated! -
Wanting To Try Something With Extra Capacitors

i have a shipment of capacitors arriving friday. i'm wanting to try an experiment where i fill all the cap spots(instead of just the 3 spots) in front of the processors with 3300uf caps to see if the extra power being available to the gpu/cpu help the xbox's performance. my question is, is there any chance that this will damage the xbox? also, has anyone ever tried this before? -
Hi there I am new to modding Xboxes, i have watched a number of videos on the subject . I plan to look through all the forum topics to guide me , my biggest hurdle is knowing what tools, leads and software to have so it makes the process easier. I have four Xboxes, two have been soft modded by the previous owners (one has an extension kit with three HDD's internally and has an Akira 2 mod chip), one standard Xbox and one Pal Crystal Xbox version 1.5 I plan to TSOP all of them if possible. My soldier skills are good, i have installed mod chips in my PS2, and Gamecube. I have also modded my Dreamcast with an IDE Reborn and have an IDE drive in a custom built DC table top arcade. Any help on where to look for info would be much appreciated
