About Me

  1. Hello to all, just softmoded my OGxbox. My next step will be obviously upgrading HDD. so question is, after when i upgrade HDD to 2 TB can i use Sata To USB Adapter to transfer files instead using FTP method? I got 3 ogxbox HDD ready game packs total 1.6TB. I think it woud be much faster using Sata To USB Adapter (USB 3.0)and Xplorer360. has anyone tried to do this?
  2. I know you can use the USB as a memory card, and that's how you install softmods, but can you use it for anything else? Can you store games on it? I'm sure you could, maybe I just haven't thought much about it.
  3. hi al can i use a powered usb hub on the usb port i have fitted in place of controller port 4?. thanks
  4. pcb 1.6mm fabrication thickness enjoy. gerbers included Gerber_999999977_20190525051758.zip
  5. Will a 360 usb controller work on a OG Xbox? I see that the OG Xbox has a 5th wire labeled timing signals.
  6. Hi guys hope it helps those who have a broken/missing usb ports on the x3cp v1.0 needed a few minor dimensional changes to fit snugly in the stock x3cp usb board slide slots i had to shave off 1-2mm from the sides of the pcb for it to seat properly and not damage the housing. these files are v1.1 and the required changes have been made i recommend 1.00mm-1.6mm board thickness any questions feel free to ask https://mega.nz/#!LkNAFYSJ!SDPPguhC64fcmEvT2RkIuT_xdSYkedqKGIfJJlUAJQA
  7. Today I worked on taking apart controllers and cleaning them up. I figured while I was at it I would go ahead and take apart and clean up my remote power button and USB adapter mod too. I made this probably about 12 years ago. I took an Xbox Live communicator apart and replaced the circuit board with a simple breadboard from Radio Shack. I put a USB port where the volume knob used to be and a switch under the mute button. I modded my Xbox with the yellow wire remote power button mod so I wired up the switch as the remote power button. The nice thing about modding this communicator is that I can plug it into any controller and have a remote power button without modding the controller itself. It is also great for softmodding systems by plugging a USB drive directly into the communicator instead of making a USB adapter cable that I would have to search for whenever I work on modding a system.
  8. I have a board I wanted to get out there in the scene but right now I’m getting out of the Xbox scene so I’m just dumping all my board deigns - OXControllr is a baord that slips into the controller port and gives you full usb and a power button if you have done the power button mod OXControllr v2.zip 31BDF9E9-7C05-471B-AC92-47031FF3A7F3.MOV
