Hi, I'm new here. I have been captivated by the OG Xbox community since I repaired my friend's 1.6 console, it had an old clone of a "Duo X2" chip which booted like, 1 out 10 times lol. I replaced it with a ModXO, and, after configuring everything and doing some testing on the console, i fell in love. After returning the console to my friend, i decided to buy one myself. I procured a 1.4 for just 30€, and also a component adapter for just 10€. I was overjoyed. My own Xbox! I love collecting retro hardware, and i never considered getting a Xbox as i thought they were rare or expensive. Turns out, that you can get them pretty cheap if you don't mind getting them with blown capacitors lol. As i already did fix one console, i thought this one would be easy to fix, but it is giving me some trouble. I'll talk about it on its dedicated thread though, i just wanted to share my story. I hope to get along well with all of you! Also, happy (almost) new year!
