About Me

  1. I have a modded xbox with lcd and x3 chip full front panel mod fully working is it worth anything in thr UK was thinking of putting it on ebay
  2. I have an NTSC import game that my PAL hard modded Xbox can't play, it just sees it as an 11mb video disc. I was under the impression any Xbox that had been modded should be able to play imports? The disc is in pretty good condition so unless there's something i'm missing i'm confused why it can't be read in my console?
  3. I've got a 1.1 XBOX, made October 2002. I soft modded it using Rocky5 files and then did a TSOP flash with EVO X with F & G. All went well and I next tried to upgrade the HDD from the stock one to a Segate 2TB after upgrading the IDE cable to 80 wire one. I tried the first adapter from the top of the picture you see below but the XBOX didn't see the HDD, so then I tried the second adapter (middle one). The XBOX saw the HDD and HeXen 2018 loaded up from disc, it installed all the dash/app files, then usex XB Partioner to split F & G into equal sizes 926GB (approx if I recall from memory). At this point everything was going well and the XBOX would boot fine into dash, I even managed to transfer some games and then started installing XBMC and some emulators, during this the XBOX seemed to freeze and not respond. I rebooted the XBOX but it kept giving me error 7 and sometimes error 9. I tried everything possible including formatting the hard drive on the PC and reconnecting, tried other hard drives but all gave the same result. I then tried the first adapter from the top and the XBOX would boot but won't run anything from the DVD drive. Finally I bought the third IDE to SATA adapter, third one at the bottom of the picture and this arrived today This sadly has not changed the outcome and I continued now to get error 7 with all 3 different adapters With all this mentioned, the XBOX boots fine into dashboard with the original hard drive and current EVO X BIOS flash. I've also tried all jumper settings on both second and third adapter that has jumper pins. At this point I'm lost to what is the problem, could I just possibily ended up with 3 bad Chinese IDE to SATA adapters? I've ordered StarTech.com 40-Pin IDE PATA to SATA Adapter Converter and this will land in the next day or two for me to test. Any input on this would be appreciated.
  4. https://www.ebay.com/itm/265197533417 Hey everyone, please delete if not allowed but I'm selling a custom modded Xbox 360 controller. I don't know too much about it, let alone what it's actually worth, but I'm sharing in case anyone wants to check it out. It has a nice aesthetic to it but I'm not sure if there's rapid fire or anything like that built in. I figured with the OGX360 becoming more popular and viable for different controller options on the OG Xbox and certain controllers either being hard to find in general or simply hard to find in good condition, I figured someone here might be interested before the auction ends. Thank you!
  5. Can I ask the community for some help please: I’m trying to make a back-up of my WD Blue 1TB hard drive from my Xbox and can’t seem to get the duplicated drive to boot. My Xbox is modded with an Xecuter X3 chip and that is working fine; I have the X3 panel on the front which is lighting up blue and booting ok with my original drive – and it is booting to the X3 bios on my duplicate one. I’ve duplicated my original drive using HDD Raw Copy 1.10 (through two separate USB docking stations). Obviously I received read errors throughout the process; but it has reached 100% and finished. However, when I plugged in the back-up drive and booted up the Xbox, I got error code 16. When I switched banks and booted to the X3 bios it updated some settings; but when I boot to the bios bank that should be loading my XBMC Media Centre dashboard, I get error code 13. Basically my question is: am I missing something/doing something wrong? I wonder if I still need to “tell” the bios that this is a different drive somehow? Any advice gratefully received thanks.

  8. I had been selling refurbished Xbox's on eBay for a while, when PayPal restricted my account for seemingly no reason. While I waited for that to hopefully resolve itself, I decided to make a website where you can buy custom modded OG Xbox's as well as repairs. Let me know what you think! I haven't gotten around to changing how it looks or anything, as I'm not really an artsy person. Is there any mods that I should include? Are there any problems I should know about? I don't exactly think this will be a big deal, mostly something to keep myself occupied while I wait for my eBay store to come up again. Thank you! Consolemodshed.com
  9. hi all new here and new to thee xbox modding, i have a tosp modded og xbox i wont to check the heath of my drive as ive noiced sum saves are not loading i have a 500GB segate sata drive in it i wont to make sure the drive is ok and it's not just a curuped file ?
  10. Getting out of modding, I have 5 xboxes left each with 2tb drives. Message me for more info, us only.
  11. as the title says, i have a fuckton of xboxes i modded with 2tb drives that i wanna get rid of. for more info, dm me, thanks.
  12. A friend gave this modded Xbox but didn't know much about it. I've had soft modded ones. but don't know much about the hard ones myself either. It has a larger hard drive. When you turn it on it gives the 09 error and ring flashes red and yellow. Someone told me that button should be held on the controller when you turn on the Xbox but isn't sure which ones. Would that cause the 09 error? Thanks for any help.
  13. 2nd picture will be in the comment. i'll let y'all know how these work out. they look pretty nice.
  14. I recently bought a Xbox Crystal edition with 1.6 revision board. I’m told the HDD has been upgraded to a 7200RPM 160gb seagate drive and it has an aladdin XT mod chip. It worked fairly well for a couple of days, crashing once or twice and showing error code 07 or 21 a couple of times. I have some tolerance for this kind of thing from old hardware. This morning, however, it was a nightmare to get working. Error codes 07 and 21 came up (mainly 07). It booted up a couple of times operating very slowly and not recognising the HDD. The times I have got it working, games have crashed after about 20 minutes claiming that the disc is damaged even though running from HDD. Any ideas!?!
  15. I can't find the answer to this anywhere but somebody on another forum wants to use Chimp 261812 to clone a softmodded HDD to one previously used with a chipped Xbox. The important thing is to preserve the F:\ and G:\ drives on the second HDD as there is around 1TB of games installed and they want to avoid having to FTP or copying them all over again. The second HDD seems to be a perfectly normal, unlocked, chipped install so the obvious thing to suggest initially was using Chimp 261812 to clone his existing softmodded HDD. But when the requirement to preserve F:\ and G:\ on the slave drive was mentioned I realised I did not know the answer. None of the Chimp 261812 documentation or forum posts I've found anywhere appear to cover such matters. So is it possible just to clone C:\ and E:\ using Chimp 261812 without affecting the F:\ and G:\ drive content? If not is there another way of doing what is wanted? Maybe even better for example I thought about suggesting repopulating C:\ and E:\ with a softmod installation using FATXplorer and then using Chimp 261812 to lock it. Would that work?
  16. I have a v1.0 original modded Xbox, it had an old Aladdin mod chip, I wanted to upgrade the hard drive and after doing some research I found out I can brick it by flashing a new bios. The bios is unknown but after running bios checker it reads I have a lpc sst49lf020, it boots up xecuter2 into an evolution x dashboard. If I use the hexen 2019 disc, what steps can I take after I install a larger hdd? I don’t need to clone it, I backed up everything using ftp, and I want a fresh install. Here are some images that may help... Thanks for your time.
  17. well, i modded my 2nd xbox tonight and i'm having a weird problem. on the home screen, the cpu temp is slowly rising. the temp limit was set at 50 c and it would get up to about 51c and the fan would kick up to about 3.0x. so i raised the temp limit to 55c. the xbox is slowly climbing to that temp. it's sitting at 54c right now. what is causing this and how do i fix it? my 1st modded xbox is a version 1.4 and it idles in the 40's at 1.0x fan speed. btw, i changed the 3 caps in front of the heat sink on both systems.i also changed the cpu thermal paste on both systems(i didn't change the gpu thermal paste).
  18. My original xbox died 10 years ago and the drive has been sitting on the shelf ever since. I recently installed an Aladdin XT Plus2 chip in a 1.6 Xbox and I have hexen19 burned onto a DVD. How Do I replace the stock drive with the drive from my old u modded xbox? The reason I want to use the old drive is that I want to transfer my save files off of it then place a new drive in the xbox, if this isn't possible, is there another way to transfer my files off the old drive. The drive is a Seagate not a WD.
  19. Quick question I am finding difficult to search online. Like most, I mainly play games directly from the hard drive, but do occasionally like to play my games on disc. I am wondering if there is an application out there that gives you the option of disabling the dvd drive on startup? I want to keep my dvd drive alive for as long as possible, and I cringe everytime I boot the Xbox and the laser searches for a disc that isn't there. It seems I am just degrading the lifetime of the drive that way. If I can disable the drive when I am not using it, I bet I would be able to squeeze more life out of it. Thanks!
  20. i hard modded a 1.4. i have replaced the clock cap. i still have some stuff to finish up on it and i was wondering if there was any reason to replace the 3300uf and 1500uf caps on it? the xbox seems to work fine so, if i did change them, would there be any benefit?
  21. i'm ftp'ing a bunch of games to my xbox. it has auto shutoff twice now and it is kind of annoying. how do i stop it from shutting itself off?
  22. SO when I turn it on, it starts and stops a few times before it finally gets going and then when it does I get no image or sound and the light just flashes red and green. At first I thought it was my IDE adapter on my new hard drive, but when I replaced the unnamed brand one with a startech it still did it. To be clear, my xbox DOES work if I keep fucking with the power button and I can play games normally (Have not extensively tested to see if it randomly shuts off or anything after a long period of time. Anyone know what the problem could be?
  23. Looking for help with my modded Xbox. I had this done by someone (can’t remember who) back in 2005/2006 and I haven’t started it up in over 5 years. I have tried a lot of button combos and it won’t boot up. It won’t even boot up in regular mode either. No matter what I do it turns on then Immediately shuts back off. It is a Halo edition with the X3 and control panel like the one pictured above. Any help would be appreciated. Also looking for recommendations for someone that could repair it if necessary. 7253D5C9-ED2A-4D4D-A5B4-E6A12DBFF7CE.mov
  24. Just if someone would like to sell one
  25. Hello all... I've been researching this issue for over a week and can't find a solution so hoping you all can help. I bought this modded xbox about 15 years ago with the games already backed up on HDD. I've added a bunch of pics of the screens. 1- why is the default xecuter2 (or is it evoX?) main menu screen so ugly and inefficient? it takes up to 3 clicks to actually get to games. Could you point me to tutorials on how to customize this? 2- when i looked up tutorials on how to ftp and finally figured it out, it looks like i have folders (partitions??) C, E, and F with files loaded. E only has ~4GB capacity, and F has about 60GB. But I'm reading that actually F and G should have large capacities. Should G be able to hold games or files? Currently G is empty. 3- I've made 6 coasters so far trying to burn ISOs to play from the Disc drive. Nothing seems to be working because the xbox doesn't recognize the discs at all. Normal xbox discs and DVD movies play perfectly. Burned ISO images on DVD-R do not work. Any ideas?? I'm using ImgBurn and extract-XISO at 4x speed with DVD-Rs.
