hello guys i have an xbox 1.6 with aladdin chip i want to contact my xbox with my pc i'm using Ethernet cable from the xbox to the Ethernet hole in my pc and the xbox didn't get the ip and also my pc didn't detect my xbox so i can get the contact and contact the xbox with filezila my pc is win 10

Hello, I am currently getting ready to upgrade my xbox HDD to a 2tb one. My question is how much space should I give to each partition? Realistically I'm going to fill this thing up with most of the emulators I can run on the xbox while being able to fit as many original xbox games on it as well. How have some of you done this? Thanks I'm not sure I'd be putting a playstation emulator/games on here because I'm not sure if the compatibility has improved on that front. Whats the latest on playstation emulation?

How exactly would I restore the cut L frame on a 1.6/b xbox. My friend tried to install a wire over the cut but it seems to have shorted out and left a black mark on the motherboard. It is cut the same as in this photo.

Hi everyone, Today I tsop flashed my V1.0 mobo using the TruHexEN 2021 disc and everything was fine until I used option 4.2.11 (install all dashboards.) Now I woulda thought that if my C had become that choked for space it would have simply asked me if I wanted to continue installing to the location I was, change location or cancel all together... but it installed to the C and nowits full and even using filezilla to ftp into the C, I can't peer into the "Do not touch anything in here" which I am suspect is the major culprit why my drive is claiming to be full.... anyone know of any methods or tools to clear up the C:?

Got xbox2wii component pro with a wii2hdmi adapter and a cheap usb capture card. Im trying to record @480p 30fps on OBS. But every input setting makes the game look like crap. the default input if 854x480 is there a way to make the xbox produce a 640x480 480p signal?

hi all new here and new to thee xbox modding, i have a tosp modded og xbox i wont to check the heath of my drive as ive noiced sum saves are not loading i have a 500GB segate sata drive in it i wont to make sure the drive is ok and it's not just a curuped file ?

So I just slimmed my first xbox. I like it; but it leaves me wondering how slim can I go? I got a couple GPU fan/heatsinks for the GPU/CPU. I plan on doing a custom PSU with a pico atx PSU (that can supply 10A on the 5V rail) Will have to do something with the front buttons (not quite sure yet) Was thinking of cutting the case right down to where the controller ports mount (rather than the strip where the DVD drive would be). Has anyone done anything like this? I know people have put motherboards into custom cases; just wondering if anyone knows of a slimmed xbox beyond the norm that has been done? Thanks

Hello Friends I'm configuring Ninja Ultimate and I wondered how I can update / add emulators to it. For example the PCSXbox reloaded uses hardware acceleration so I wanted to change use it instead. For example, I can see AtariXL.xbe and defaultAXL.xbe. I presume the latter is a shortcut to the former which is AtariXLbox modded for Coinops? OR, is this calling the XBE under my F:\Emulators folder I have been searching for days to try to find info and everything points to the PC versions these days. Thanks in advance

I've purchased a box with the executor 2.3B chip as far as I can tell. Please forgive my noobishness, it's been years since I've played with this stuff. I managed to find an install guide for this chip but nothing that really tells me how to use it. The three switches on the front for starters. From what I can gather, Switch one appears to be enable/disable the chip. Switch 2 is to protect/unprotect the bios from flashing? and switch 3 is for Bank 1 and Bank 2? Can anybody verify and explain purpose of the third one? Next question, the hdd is set up in ways I don't understand. I'm showing like 4 different drive paths/partitions. C, E, F, G I think and they are full of junk I don't know what I can safely delete (and how)? The C is where my emulators and roms are stored and it is partitioned for like 100mb and full, whereas there is 4 or 5 gigs of stuff in the other partitions. Can I just take out this hdd (so I don't mess with a working machine), put in a different one and install an OS on it? I want to start fresh with a clean OS (I have the newest hexen image burned already), I want only one partition, a different dashboard perhaps (I don't particularly like the XBMC on there) Next question is how do I find out which bios is installed? Should I install a new one or just leave it?

Is there a particular adapter to use the joypad on PC ?

just opened up a 1.0 xbox which was hard modded back in the day, when there was no chip on the top of the board i assumed it must have been tsop'd, took the board out and found this monstrosity, ive locked a stock HD to it and desoldered the chip so i can start afresh. im glad things got easier as time went by!

Hi, I have an OG Xbox with an unknow (to me) Mod, it was given to me maybe 10 years ago as it is now. The mod chip has a paper backing with no writing and the other side only has info re: the jumpers (pic), no identifiers that I could find. The boot screen shows XECUTER2 (pic) and the dashboard it goes to shows RemoteX v1.8.2812. It'll play backed up games and had one game loaded to the HDD listed in apps (not games), but due to E: being low on free space I deleted the data files for said game so it is up to over 4GB free now. I tried to upgrade the HDD with a 500GB SATA HDD using a PATA to SATA adapter (setting the jumper as needed) but the system would boot to a service error. I then tried a known good IDE drive which lead to the same error. Unless that is not a mod chip and this is soft modded? I have HeXEn 2018 on DVD, booted to that and tried to install Chimp to E so that I could clone the data to another drive. It installs but when I go to my dashboard I do not see chimp but the files are on E: Any ideas if this is soft modded or is that indeed a modchip? Suggestions on how to proceed in getting another HDD in the system? I don't need any of the data on there, would just like to be able to get the drive in and FTP over some games. Any other suggestions? Thanks for reading!

long story short, ages ago I softmodded a 1.1 machine and naturally locked the drive after upgrading it. shortly after I tsoped it though, and zeroed and password- without backing the original or unlocking the drive. I tried chimp261812 and neither master password (XBOXSCENE and TEAMASSEMBLY) worked. the master password *should* be a string of 32 T (it's a samsung drive) but chimp won't let me input a different master password. there's the hddkey.txt option but it only accepts 16 bytes of hexadecimal characters, unless I'm missing something it's not related to the master password. there's also the linux terminal but I'm not sure what I'm doing here. any ideas?

Hi guys, So I was given an Xbox 1.0 from a friend that is chipped and has a 120gb HDD. Unfotunately the chip does not have support for HDD larger than 120gb and I am unable to flash the chip's BIOS (evox says it is not flash writeable). I'm basically in a bind to find a guide on how to softmod this box and tsop it from a modchip because I don't know what type of chip it is and how to disable it. Pictures below: Apologies for the very dusty MB, lol! As always any guidance will be highly appreciated.

XBMC4Gamers. In the context menu, Choose Thumb option, I selected No Thumb on a couple of the cards (Apps, Games), which I shouldn't have done. Now, no matter which theme I load, the thumbnails for those cards don't show up. I don't know where the thumbnails for the themes are stored, and I don't know how to clear the "No Thumb" option so the thumbnails will load. I tried doing an update, even though I am running the latest stable release, but it didn't help. Can anyone please point me in the right direction so I can recover from my stupidity. So here is the deal, I have an OG Xbox for the first time in my life. Games play amazingly well, but I don't know if it's because of the fact that most games use AA, but they tend to look a bit blurry. I am using the Xbox with component cables on a Sony Wega CRT 29inch, it is a really awesome TV. But like I said the Xbox looks a bit blurry, the Wii/Gamecube through component looks cleaner in comparison. The PS2 also looks clean on my TV using component, but the PS2 image quality is crap anyways so it doesn't even matter. In essence what I am asking is: Is there an APP or an option within a Dashboard that can make the Xbox games look sharper looking? I know that there are filters within most dashboards, but they are mostly for the dashboard itself, not the games, etc. Cheers and thank you all, you are a wonderfull community, I mean, we are

Hello everyone, just got myself another Xbox a couple weeks ago, 1.6 with a dead DVD Drive, $15 for console, cords, 2 S-Controllers (no breakaways ) and 2 games (FIFA 07 and Halo 3, lol) I stumbled upon my copy of Mechassault I had stashed hopped online for a USB to XBOX adapter, and a Duke controller $20. Softmodded with Rocky5s installer! My DVD drive problem was solved by a friend who let me swap drives temporarily in exchange for modding his system. Rummaged through my old HDDs (no ide sadly, but!) I found a 2TB 3.5 drive lying about. Ordered a SATA to IDE adapter and an 80wire cable, now I have more games and emulators then I know what to do with anymore! lol Anyways, Thats the story of why I am here, to check out all the cool homebrew and troubleshoot anymore problems I stumble across in my journeys. recently got a debug kit I have been trying to look for ways on how to FTP 2 debug kit. The only media this would read that will allow you to FTP is the dashboard Avalanche. These were made on the Old Source codes that's why it can read it. But you really want the Alpha version it's a special version (Alpha v0.49.1) This is the only Dash or program this debug kit will play. Once it boots up go into file manager using the CD to get there. Copy files from DVD drive into the E partition you can make a folder call it apps and place individually everything on the contents of the CD you made... once that is done you can reboot the system open Avalanche go into FTP settings. You want to change your IP address to whatever you have on flashfxp or Windows .. once you are linked you can pull off any programs that you want to make a copy for yourself. Another thing you can do is download an app called retail game loader V 1.20. This app will allow you to play retail games as well as emulators or anything the original Modded Xbox can play. How you use it is once you FTP to hard drive and is complete reset the system then under xdk launcher click on the newly installed app retail disc loader V 1.20... once that is launched it will look like the exact same Dash except now you can load anything you want. I was giving a lot of help from a lot of different sources in order to make this post to this form. the buttons on one of my controller are starting to take a lot of pressure to activate. the xbox buttons are not normal controller buttons with removable pads like most controllers have. so how do i fix it?
