I had to do some maintenance on my disk drive, but now my SSD is asking to format and the key is all bugged, is this a problem with my SSD (maybe fake), or does this happen every time you remove the cables IDE? (I'm using SSD on Xbox for the first time)

Can XBOX games be read in RAR format or do they need to be ISO format in order to transfer over by QWIX? OR can they be transfered over in another way to FTP and keep in RAR format and the XBOX can read it?

I know that the format for the videos for the roms are in a .xmv format. Is there a way to convert other videos to that format? I have some videos for games but they are not in .xmv, so I wanted to see if I could convert them over to be used.

I did a recent xbox original upgrade v 1.6 with aladdin xt plus 2 mod chip from aliexpress, ide to sata adapter with 80 wire ide cable and finally a seagate 1 tb hdd. I did an format on the hdd with ogxbox 2021 installation disc. Through the process I selected format F drive with remaining space and skipped the G drive. I checked xbpartitioner v 1.3 and found an ER code beside the 924 GB. My options are in xbpartitioner v 1.3 without ER code are #1. 120 GB for F only #2. 120 GB for F only and 803 for G only. I selected option #2. Would I run into problems down the road if I left the hdd with 924 GB with ER code? I thought the modchip came with M8plus_16.bin with 06 where partition F take remaining space? Does the partitions F and G under games merge on the same screen when selecting from menu? Does the partitions given in xbpartitioner v 1.3 depend on the type of bios and type of hdd?

Will user-generated iso's work, I backed up a game in iso form [to match the checksum with redump to ensure the backup made is good]. But these are 7.28 GB [due to the junk data], so if I extract the iso and then remake an iso from the raw files the newly created iso file is smaller, as now the junk data is removed. Will such iso's created work fine. The newly released Cerbios supports games in iso format, but i do not know if only original iso(s) are supported or user-generated ones are also. I learned the hard way today that XBPartitioner used 32kb clusters instead of 64 for my 500GB SSD, when I suddenly couldn't write files anymore after transferring over 250GB. After reformatting with XBPartitioner, my F drive changed from ER to 32. Still not 64, but whatever. However, after setting up a new disk with Hexen, the partition goes back to ER. I can press the A button on that partition 600 times and it will never change to 64kb clusters, and when I format it again using 32kb clusters, it doesn't change from ER. All of my partitions are left default how Hexen configured them except for my F drive which is 458GB after pressing B. How can I get my drive working correctly?

After 10 years of brake I bought 2 Xbox So like in the title One I bought already chip moded Xbox Xecutor2 3b pro and Avalaunch when I turn off chip I don’t know why I’m was extra softmoded Xbox when I was trying change size of the partition by mistake I formatted hard drive ( I have back up eproom) first he show me error 16 I was using second softmoded Xbox and chimp program to fix error 16 in unlock disk with original eproom copy all partition c and later lock the hardrive now I have error 21 and I was trying everything and can fix this ;( it’s any change to fix this Xbox he don’t wanna boot Hexen was trying 2018 and 2019

So I was just going to format my hdd for other use then suddenly BAM! xboxhdm hotswapped the drive wiped partition forgot to unlock what now.

Hi, Is there a post or a PDF that shows all the file formats for the emulators that go on the OG Xbox? I found some roms for the Snes but when I try to launch them in the snes emulator it does not see them, so I just want to make sure I have the right file format first.

I'm trying to setup these madmab edition emu's for sega cd and ps1. On sega cd i'm using bin/cue files but it won't load the game. On ps1 i have img files and they won't load either. Are these the right format for the games?

Hi Team, I currently have a softmodded xbox, with XBOX4Gamers dash, with about 80 games on it. The games were direct rips from my libary. Now i also have a bunch of Xbox games in .iso format as well. Can i just FTP this over to my xbox and GTG, or is there more steps to get it working right? "" So after reading some other posts, seems to get .iso to work is a hassle." Is there a program i can use to just rip the .iso to its default folders like you see when you rip a game on the xbox its self?

I'm trying all methods of XBOX modding: softmodding with exploit is learned and understood, later steps will be TSOP (v1.2) and modchip (v1.2/v1.6) but for now I decided to replace the original 10GB Seagate HDD with a 80GB 7200rpm Seagate HDD because the original is reporting below 50% health with Acronis Drive Monitor. I went with XBOXHDM 2.2a because I already had a FAT32 flash drive for booting ISOs, so I just extracted the content, added the entries from menu.lst to my menu.lst, copied eeprom.bin to \eeprom folder and extracted v5960 dashboard files from Clean_C_and_E_Files_for_Xbox.7z to \hdm\C. It couldn't be simpler: Boot Slax, run xboxhd2 from command window (phase 2), run xboxhdm to create C/E/F partitions and autocopy the dashboard, lock the HDD with xboxhd2 again, insert HDD in the XBOX. All was OK until I booted the XBOX and was greeted with error 21. A quick Google search indicated it might be related to missing dashboard files, so I checked the C partition content with a quick hotswap, Windows XP and Xplorer360 beta6, and discovered that the files were copied in the 8.3 DOS naming scheme. For example, the "xboxdashdata.185ead00" folder was copied as "xboxda~1.185", the "XBox Book.xtf" file was copied as "xboxbo~1.xtf" and so on. Deleting all files and dropping them into Xplorer360 again solved the naming problem and the XBOX booted correctly. (EDIT: for some strange reason, partition E had duplicated folders: tdata, udata, TDATA and UDATA) So the question is: Why did Slax/QEMU copied the files in 8.3 format?

I have 2 XBOXes v1.2 and v1.6 with Rocky5 softmod v1.1.6. I was messing around with the NKPatcher and nulled the HDD drive key on one of them before backing up the EEPROM and now it boots up to error 05. It seems I need to format it using the hotswap method, xboxhdm v1.9 and a backup of the Dashboard from the C partition, which I don't have. Can I use the files from the other XBOX? EDIT: I'm probably looking at it fro the wrong angle... when using the hotswap, won't I get access to the backed up EEPROM in the E partition? Can it be used to restore the HDD?Or is it better to just format it and start from scratch? This subject is still pretty new to me.

I'm interested to know once the original Xbox is modded what can can the king of emulation play?for movies what kind of movie formats can she play? For example MP4 Avi Etc. Also would be nice to know what kind of music and picture files will work with the original Xbox for example MP3? Wave? Jpeg? Either a list or a link would be great. I got a lot of cool stuff that can go on the Xbox and we all know how FTP speeds are..lol Thanks Frank
