My power supply died recently and I'm looking to take readings to test different areas to rebuild it. I was curious if anybody had diagrams with ratings for the single row connector revision of the power supply? If not could I get ratings for the components that blew in the picture attached to this post?

Can I ask the community for some help please: I’m trying to make a back-up of my WD Blue 1TB hard drive from my Xbox and can’t seem to get the duplicated drive to boot. My Xbox is modded with an Xecuter X3 chip and that is working fine; I have the X3 panel on the front which is lighting up blue and booting ok with my original drive – and it is booting to the X3 bios on my duplicate one. I’ve duplicated my original drive using HDD Raw Copy 1.10 (through two separate USB docking stations). Obviously I received read errors throughout the process; but it has reached 100% and finished. However, when I plugged in the back-up drive and booted up the Xbox, I got error code 16. When I switched banks and booted to the X3 bios it updated some settings; but when I boot to the bios bank that should be loading my XBMC Media Centre dashboard, I get error code 13. Basically my question is: am I missing something/doing something wrong? I wonder if I still need to “tell” the bios that this is a different drive somehow? Any advice gratefully received thanks.

Hello. I'm playing now PAL version of Guilty Gear Isuka. I'm not good enough to unlock everything, but i want to make with trainer/find save file. Maybe anyone can help me with this problem?

if u have a v1.6 that is connected with a component cable(green,blue and red cables) then u probably know there are a few games that are scrambled if u try to play them in 480p and u have to set the xbox to 480i to unscramble the the picture. here is a simple workaround that i just discovered. 1.power on your xbox and pull the power cord with the system on.(the step may not be needed but it sometimes it) 2. plug your xbox in, hold a controller in one hand and hit the power button with the other, then click in the left and right sticks along with holding down the L and R buttons and hold all 4 buttons until u get to the xbox desktop(make certain the system doesn't have a game in it so it will boot to the desktop). 3. if u did things correctly u should see the screen flicker and go into 480p mode as the desktop is coming up. hit the INFO button on your tv remote to make certain that the display is in 480p mode(and not 480i). 4. make certain the 480p mode is set to YES in the system settings menu and then throw in a game and see if it works. i used fable(non-lost chapters version) and it worked perfectly.

Hi, I managed to buy a PAL copy of THPS4 and a USB adapter for my Xbox, thought my old rooted phone would work with it. Sadly, there is an issue with it that I wouldn't have thought of before. This particular phone seems to host a partition with USB drivers automatically - for example, when I plug it into a PC it shows up as a CD-ROM which allows you to install the USB drivers. In DriveDroid this driver image seems to take up the first image slot out of the three available and I can't get rid of it in any way. Clicking eject only clears the slot for a couple of seconds, then it hosts the image again. Even with a 16 MB empty image hosted in a different slot the Xbox keeps saying that my drive is corrupted. Any idea how I could get my phone to work?

I plan on installing the MakeMhz HD+ native digital mod in my 1.6. The only thing I'm concerned with is the AV port which has large solder joints. They remind me of the power jack on my laptop that I tried to replace but was unable to with my soldering iron because the solder had a higher melting point than the 450 celcius my iron is supposedly rated for. Should 450C be good for the entire job?

I am interested in something like Qwix or C-xbox tool but which also allows me to use an ACL file for the chosen xbe. As far as I know ACLs are only used with DVD2XBOX (which can use the context menu on extracted XBEs in its file explorer to process with ACL files, for anyone looking for that functionality).

I'm looking to get a modded XBOX but wonder if paying extra for a system with a 128mb ram upgrade is worth it. I don't have much interest in emulators. I want one to play XBOX titles. I'm intrigued by being able to use more 720p patches with the 128mb, but do patched games run well enough?

I had been selling refurbished Xbox's on eBay for a while, when PayPal restricted my account for seemingly no reason. While I waited for that to hopefully resolve itself, I decided to make a website where you can buy custom modded OG Xbox's as well as repairs. Let me know what you think! I haven't gotten around to changing how it looks or anything, as I'm not really an artsy person. Is there any mods that I should include? Are there any problems I should know about? As we all know the Xcalibur encoder in the 1.6 Xbox, was Microshafts in-house built chip.. No public documentation or anything. I'm wanting to find bits and pieces of info that may be round from old dead forum threads, randome files etc.. Sadly I have no Reverse Engineering and little coding know how to be able to pick a newer Kernel apart, but I am thinking I may be able to dump some info from my 1.6 itself while it's running. So if anyone has any ideas please post here!!

Hi guys, I can confirm that this device works if you want to make a one to one clone of your XBOX Sata HDD: ORICO 6629US3-C-V1-US-BK USB3.0 to SATA Dual Bay External Hard Drive Docking Station I was able to successfully clone my my 1TB WD HDD for backup purposes: Cloned that with the same exact model. The actual amount of storage used was a little over 700 GB and took under 4 hours. Plugged the cloned HDD in and worked like a charm no issues. Great thing about it is the offline cloning function...so no need to connect it to your PC.

I have a startech S-video adapter for my CRT tv. I want to enable the higher resolutions (480p etc) in xbmc but don't want to buy any HD av pack. Is there any specific pin inside the standard AV cable's male plug where I can move the composite video wire to do this? I mean, I imagine it would be whichever one corresponds to S-video or component on the HD AV pack. This probably sounds a little ignorant but I've never done AV mods.

I have a Jet Set Radio Future save that I have played around 25 hours in that I would like to be able to play on my console, but I haven't been able to figure out how to resign the save. The save has an "error reading JSRF save data" and doesn't let me use my save. The save originated in Cxbx-R and it won't allow me to move the save to or from the console without this error occurring. Not sure how to proceed from here, and would be grateful if anyone wanted to help me out. I have attached the save if that can help, thanks for your time. 5345000a.zip

I am looking for _resource files specific for xbmc4games for the apps not the games like EVOX DVD2XBOX AVALAUNCH and others. Has anyone come across these ? Was never great with Photoshop to make them, if I did would rather look at the missing artwork default image.

I Tsop'd and de clock capped a 1.1 Last night after realizing I can't do my other Xbox because its 1.6b? Literally the last batch of Xbox's Produced must be with its Manufacter date 16/08/2005 Ideally I'd like to have this hard modded rather that just Soft because my eyes have been opened. What list is the most accurate for 1.6? And if anybody has a mouser or digikey part list to share I would love that.

Trying to get rid of all these controller ports I have. 20 shipped in the us for a complete set for the xbox, choose from red, green, blue, yellow, white, or any combo of the five.

I am in the process of setting up Rocky5's excellent XBMC Emustation dashboard and am finishing it off with the C64 section at the moment. Is there a way to get the nice cover art like you can for the other emulators which I have had the luxary of fixing easily thru the downloads on XBMC Emustation?
