Selling x3 chips and xlcd brand new mod chips are used

Hi - wasn't sure where to post this and thought I'd post it here seeing as you guys focus on cases. I'm looking for the front facia part that says "xbox" and attaches to the dvd drive drawer. I fixed a drive that I thought was unfixable with a new rubber band and a good cleaning with alcohol. Now I'd like to find a replacement part in the UK - anyone able to point me in the right direction - can't see them on ebay or amazon. I have an original black xbox so I need the part in black. Thanks for any help.

Hi - I ordered a Star Tech IDE to SATA connector and have a spare 500GB SATA drive - will the IDE cable in the xbox work as it is a 500GB drive or will I need to invest in a 80 Pin cable?

Hi - I softmodded my xbox original five years ago and didn't use it much because of a house move. I took it out last night and realised that the upgraded 250GB drive is very noisy and sounds like it is dying. I upgraded before using Chimp. I am wondering can I use Chimp again with another 250GB hard drive or does the next hard drive have to be bigger than the 250GB drive? I have looked for an answer on google but all search returns related to upgrading to a larger drive from the stock drive - there doesn't seem to be anything about swapping a drive for another drive that is equal in size. So I will receive the components needed this week or the one after. This is a hardmodded xbox and I will try to swap a 130 Gb to a 2To one. Meanwhile I've been studying Chimp usage base on the latest video by Rocky5 but they are some things which are not clear to me. - Is it better to use cable select or slave for the new hdd ? - Cocky references a 4s period to swap ide cable from dvd to new hdd, is it a real thing ? - Swapping cable before launching chimp right ? - First option shown at 10'35 'Select from menu' shoudl be the first one FatX right ? - Clone from master to slave with a 2TB slave : I want to have F and G both of 950Go size approximatively so I should choose (around 12'19) option 1 C & E and then on the following screen choose 4 'F and G split space evenly' or 5 'Custom F size, G gets the rest' ? - As i am on hardmod or tsop do i need to lock the slave after as show near 16'43 or is it not necessary ? I am asking because I seem to remember that in the options of my system the current HDD is shown as not locked

Dear users, I'm about to tsop a 1.4 Xbox PAL, already own a composite cable, however is very well know that Xbox only display HD options on NTSC, after tsop I'm going to upgrade my HDD through latest hexen 2018, but to make HD options available should I install new NTSC HDD or PAL? I read of a app that changes that on the system what is the best solution for a brand new system? Thanks

It has not gotten the attention that I would have liked, so I'm looking to sell it, necessary cables, and a controller for $260. System is in great condition, and functions 100%. Which bios would you recommend for easily installing/launching emulators on a pre-1.6 machine?

Is there any benefit to using a Cat6e crossover cable vs. any other type of crossover cable? I expect that the limiting factor would be the NIC in the Xbox, but I was curious to know if there are any benefits to using newer cabling standards for X-Link and FTP.
