  1. Dear All, I own an StarTech IDE to Sata adapter, and I have a 3.5 HDD on my OG XBOX, however owing to the Power Cable this adapter won't fit on the HDD Case, how did you fix this issue? Thanks
  2. Hi All, I want to replace the Xraptr solderless adapter for the X3 on my 1.4 board. The pin header I bought for the swap was this -> https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00X77A472?psc=1. The pin headers I bought won't go through the LPC port through holes. The holes seem unusually tight. Or did the Xraptr bork the holes being attached for almost 20 years? The pins are the same thickness as the pin header I received with an Open Xenium chip install I bought recently for another Xbox I own. That board was a 1.6 with LPC rebuild. See the pic of the 1.4 board LPC port and let me know if this looks unusual. Thanks for the advice, Zagman
  3. Hello good evening guys, I need to clear a doubt about the Xbox HD and the chip.... Come on, My Xbox 1.6 already has the Pin headers installed, and I want to buy Chipmod PROJECT STELLAR, I just fit it in and ready? Since you have everything done.... and another thing I'm going to buy a HD Western Blue, would that be the right one?
  4. Before today I did not even know there was such a thing as a push fit pin header. Doing a bit of researching about pin header installations I came across a video about just such a thing being used with a Raspberry Pi. Great idea I thought but wondering why nobody has ever suggested using one with the Xbox or perhaps actually fitted a chip using it rather than go through the messy and rather uncertain process of soldering in a pin header. If I'd known earlier I would have seriously considered trying this myself and maybe not lost a MB, which may have been faulty anyway, but my lousy soldering certainly did not help. You'd still need to do a bit of soldering: the D0 point of course but that is relatively simple. https://shop.pimoroni.com/products/gpio-hammer-header?variant=35643241098
  5. Have been watching the null eeprom video on YouTube, specially interested for the 1.6 xbox, little confused on the upgrade of a larger hard drive, after the null eeprom you can't just drop in a blank larger hard drive or can you like you can with Tsop system.
