  1. Does anyone know the exact part for the D0 connectors on these Xeniums? I think I lost mine and didn't realize until I went to go install these. A member contacted me about the SP ICE and send me full set. Tried it, though I think the solder-less adapter is bad. So I soldered header pins and went to install the 24k...without a D0 harness.
  2. Does anyone know where I could buy one of those from, or what the plug that fits the socket is called? I would like to source one, but I have no clue as to what it is called!
  3. It seems recently that the LCD screen mod has gained some renewed interest. The x3 (John7272 posted the pinout for connecting an x3 to the crystalfontz LCD) and xenium ones (with Ryzee119's spi2par2019 board) specifically. The xenium is all good, I already use/build and sell the Spi2Par2019 boards on my site (https://www.chimericsystems.com) but I wasnt willing to solder onto my x3 chip to add the LCD. The problems was that no one had any idea what connector the x3 used, so I set out to find it. Well, after months of ordering all the connectors that looked right (and being wrong lol) I have finally found it: The connector is a standard JST connector (SHDR-20V-S-B, which you can get from digikey for likw 20 cents https://www.digikey.com/products/en?keywords=shdr-20v-s-b) and the pre crimped wires you can get from digikey for 54 cents each (https://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/jst-sales-america-inc/ASSHSSH28K305/455-3077-ND/6009453) I have 25 of them I will have for sale on my site (https://www.chimericsystems.com) in the next few days for $6 plus shipping.
  4. I have a few x3 chips and purchased some of the cheaper 20x4 lcd panels to use and need to make some wiring harnesses for them. I can’t seem to find that style connector that was used on the chip. I’d like to at least have one end I can disconnect so the chip isn’t tied to the faceplate.
  5. Hey guys, So @N64 freak posted his awesome PCB HDMI converter in another thread. With luck he will be able to make these available for everyone. Until such a time I am annoyed with having my DIY Component cable going into a cheap amazon converter. I figure it would be easy enough to do the "dirty version" where you gut a converter down to the PCB and solder wires to the mobo. In researching the pinout of the AV connector on the mobo i found a great post from a gent named William Quade. He did a nice write up on his blog about doing it and I thought i'd share it here in case someone else is interested. https://quade.co/2017/original-xbox-hdmi/ Note: He admits his hole for the HDMI port is terrible and I recommend anyone who's doing this mod do it properly with a panel mount HDMI or at the very least, cut the hole with a dremel. His looks like a tiny bear was trying to get into his xbox but the point of the blog post was to show where you need to solder which is the important part.
