as a result of having a bad accident I no longer have the ability to tinker and mod. I have given some away to family - but have 2 complete modded systems in great shape. I am unsure but there may be 500 gb drives in them. I have a tub of parts, power supplies, board(?) case and cables. I am keeping a couple for myself, of course... I am going for best offer and will send pics upon request. I would ship to canada preferred but will also ship us - I won't gouge for shipping or this stuff. they are in fantastic shape. It's nice to see the OG Xbox community is still alive. It's been years since I chipped xboxs, and am really looking forward to start a new project once my new rework station arrives!

Hello everyone, My name is Thomas I bought a 1.4 Xbox from a thrift store about 2 weeks ago No cables no nothing I managed to find the power cable in a lot of cables I had in my shed But I ended up buying the component cable and a few games I didn't know whether the Xbox would even turn on at this point Luckily for me it did today I did my first Mod. I removed the clock capacitor Tomorrow I will do a softmod using the Rocky 5 method with the MechAssault CD I've already gathered everything and install the Payload to USB Drive just waiting for the USB cable to come in the mail Tomorow September I'm hoping to do a hard drive swap installing a 500gb SSD Looking forward to learning from everyone And thanks for the advice in advance Tom From Toronto

Hello all. I am the proud owner of a v1 OG Xbox. I picked it up at a thrift store a couple weeks ago for $23 CDN taxes in. Didn't come with any accessories or cables but those were easy to find. I had never owned an Xbox previously so everything was all brand new to me. I managed to soft mod it the next day, but wanted more so upgraded to 40gb IDE that I had laying around but wanted more, TSOP'd it and upgraded the HD to a 200gb IDE. Fixed up a crystal S controller as the cord had a break it in. Added a white LED in it just because i thought it looked cooler. Glad to have found this great site. I'll lurk around and chime in from time to time.
