  1. I am currently setting up a brand new HDD (6TB) with Cerbios and using CCI's. As the full set contains a LOT of games I want to split them alphabetically.. However the folder art that I have created displays but disappears when scrolling. This only happens when "Enable Resources" is on. If I disable resources then the folder art will stay in place and not disappear. See video for example. https://1drv.ms/v/s!AqFpyG7Ugkl6gv8sPcUgOjpVrGKH3g?e=R4jyZ2https://1drv.ms/v/s!AqFpyG7Ugkl6gv8sPcUgOjpVrGKH3g?e=R4jyZ2 I have the folder artwork placed inside the folder root, along with the game folders for that letter. I have tried naming the art folder.jpg,icon.jpg and poster.jpg, same result each time. Have even tried having a _resources folder with the artwork in (which failed completely as it just showed as another folder. Obviously I want resources enabled. So my question is does anyone know how I can change this behaviour?? @Rocky5 If you're here, do you have a suggestion from your huge wealth of XBMC knowledge? Also anyway I can use folders AND keep fast game parsing on? Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me out here...
  2. How do I add the cover art for the games? I have tried and failed. I have tried placing them in the media file and also in the artwork file but nothing works. Do I need to add them in the config settings in the emulator? Thanks
  3. Hi all I have a customer that want's the original M$ dash as a app and I can easily set that with a short cut but I am having issues making the artwork to display in xbmc4gamers ( I had a look at the stuff from Rocky5's GitHub on making the images needed and that went over my head). I have looked at the artwork installer but there is nothing there so I am hoping some one here has made the appropriate files I can copy to the folder for the M$ dash. Cheers SS Dave Soft modding is like masturbating, It gets the job done but it's nothing like the real thing.
  4. When downloading any packages to your computer there is still a default .xbe in them. and all Xbox apps/games have a default.xbe they have to or you cannot ever launch anything Instead of a .exe which the computer reads for launching programs and apps, the xbox has a .XBE XBOX Executable. The XB stands for XBOX and the E stands for executable. Anyway I downloaded the Gamers - Emustation Artwork Stuff from the following link: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1a3ZaFTuuu5L7lDbnOjmA5tlHhrwpWFKC?usp=sharing Which is the link found in this topic: I am now going to copy and paste an exact quote from the Topic Creator: Yet there isn't a single default.xbe anywhere in that package which means there is no possible way to run the installer at all. Furthermore the xbox reads the following extensions for images png - jpg - tbn - bmp (The proper dashboard still has to be used as some dashboards cannot read certain image files.) Anyway after looking through the package, there isn't any proper file extensions for the xbox to read either. Someone needs to create the proper picture formats so the dashboards can read it and say what dashboard those pictures go with, place those pics in the properly named folder, .rar that folder, and uploaded it. All someone needs to do then is download it, unpack the .rar file, and copy the folder that has all the pictures in it, onto the proper section of the xbox. Right now there isn't even a way to run any of this off a disk or the HDD. it's a complete shit show with no clear simple easy instructions. I shouldn't have to still connect the xbox to the net to download what I already have just to get it to run. This whole thing is a major and complex mess.
  5. How to make cover art visible instead of stock icons? I have used rocky5's artwork installer, but this method is not working.
  6. Back again with another question, still tweaking the XBMC Emustation and something else popped up. Is there any reason for the box art and screenshots of games not showing? I've downloaded the artwork from the downloader and all the roms names match with the specific artwork, however they don't show up in the carousel with the games listed. The preview movies will show up when I press the 'y' button in the carousel menu, but none of the artwork will show. Now by default when I first installed XBMC Emustation it was pointing to the Q:\ drive but since all my roms/media/emulators are on F:\ i switched the file paths in the advanced settings/custom asset paths to point to the proper folders on F:\.
  7. Hi, I am trying to download art for my games on my Xbox. The problem is when I start it it gives an error when I start the process with Magic Config. It says it is corrupted or damaged. The process stops afterwards. My console is hard modded with OpenXenuim and the OGXBOX installer 2021. What I am thinking it is that all my games are in subfolder either by category or by letter. I am thinking that is what is causing the problem. I just want to know if that is the case before I start reorganizing and... reorganizing. If it ain't that, put me in the right direction. Many thanks.
  8. Anyone got a link to high res box art or something similar? I realise rocky had a link to some but thats doesnt seem available now.
  9. I am in the process of setting up Rocky5's excellent XBMC Emustation dashboard and am finishing it off with the C64 section at the moment. Is there a way to get the nice cover art like you can for the other emulators which I have had the luxary of fixing easily thru the downloads on XBMC Emustation?

    Cover Art

Hey guys, i was wondering if anyone knew what the ideal size of the default.tbn should be. I'm currently replacing each image that varies from 12 Kb to 28Kb as they are poor quality. Some images i have replaced are as big as 2mb some as little as 180kb, there doesn't seem much difference between the two image wise. Thanks
  11. Hello, everyone, I have updated xbmc4gamers to include it on partition F. I also downloaded the FanArt package for xbox games but even though they are active only 2 games have images. Where can I see the partition where the FanArt was downloaded, and especially where should I place them to have all the images and covers of my xbox titles? Thanks to everyone.
