  1. Hi, I'm looking to order some parts to build an OGX360. However, there are a couple of parts that are unavailable on DigiKey. I'm not 100% what the important specs are for picking an alternate part (assume DIgiKey has one). So, I was hoping someone with more knowledge than myself could help point me to an alternative that will work. Here are the parts they are out of stock on: 5 x BAT54GWJ - https://www.digikey.com/en/products/detail/nexperia-usa-inc/BAT54GWJ/7390553 1 x MIC5219-3.3YM5-TR - https://www.digikey.com/en/products/detail/microchip-technology/MIC5219-3-3YM5-TR/771750 1 x 74HC4050D - https://www.digikey.com/en/products/detail/toshiba-semiconductor-and-storage/74HC4050D/6198944?s=N4IgTCBcDaIOwBYASBhBAGArOgIigKgLQByOIAugL5A I'm also happy to order from another place if needed. Thanks!
  2. Looks like since the OGX360 came out the Microsoft XBOX 360 PC receivers have skyrocketed in price. Do we have any other alternative? would rather not have to get a USB hub and 4 8BIT and 4 new XBOX controllers. All the alternatives seem to be a receiver only for 1 specific controller vs any 4 controllers, Ideas?
  3. Time passes by, so does the life of our OG Xbox Clock caps (if they are not removed already) but also technology in cap replacement options. So I wonder what the most Reasonable/ Convenient/ Easieast/ Safest/ Cost efficient/ Clock cap replacement of today could be? I know some people are not bothered without it and some people (lile myself) that would like to have it working Through the years I read that it can be everything inbetween replacing it with a 1F 2.5v original spec AeroGel cap, 10F 2.5v AeroGel for longer working time, a CR2032 battery socket with 1N4148 diod in series to prevent REcharge, which would not be good, 2.4v NiMh rechargable battery. My idea, not yet installed and tested, is to solder an AAA batteries socket with two 1.2v 800mA replaceable batteries to the old Clock Cap points and try to fit it in somewhere. The batteries gives 2.7v fully charged and would (theoretically, if the Xbox can give them enough charging) give more than enough unplugged power time and it would all in all cost around 5$. So now in 2020, what is your clock cap replacement (ideas, pictures, pros/cons, results)?
  4. From what I can tell I butchered my r7d3 pad on the top of the 1.0 board. The bottom pad I did fine but I'm looking for the alternative now. I was looking at the pictures but just can't tell where to place the jumper now. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I linked a picture where I think I can and a picture of the board .Thanks !! 5. I want to replace whole cooling so I'm looking for some good options. I searched the internet for Vantec ones but they are long gone. Anyone know some that could fit in screw holes?
  6. How about this as an alternative? Cheaper than the Pound Cable (If i factor in shipping to New Zealand) If anyone has tried this im interested in your feedback. HDMI Link Cable for Original Xbox
