hey I never liked consoles that much but the xbox got me hooked back in the days when i played Halo 2 with friends. while we met once a week for a session i bought my own xbox and modded it short after. when i came across xbmc i got myself a 2nd one to have a media player with every tv in my apartment. damn it was so convenient that i even bought a third one to take with me when my job made me travel. all 3 boxes still work to the day although some repairs were needed (cap remove, trace fix and the like). I'm german but live in Detroit since 2015 and so do the xboxes

New member to the forum. I dream of a fully kitted out OG Xbox with bad ass hard mod and with a 2tb Seagate. However I am a complete amatuer, my experience is that of removing Clock capacitor and cleaning the mobo with isopropyl alcohol. I have 2 project OG Xboxs that I can work with. The more likely candidate is a 1.6 Mobo in a Halo Edition Xbox. The one a I want to Mod is a V1.0 Mobo never been touched before and is clean. Ohh is it clean. However it frags so unless I can fix that it may end up as a brick. I want to ask about buying some parts and ask about some specific repair options/details. However I do not want to just start a thread about that in here. As this is an introduction thread. Where would be the best place to post those questions. I need 10 posts so I can download the repair PDF.
