Looking to sell my X3CP xbox. It's a 1.6 with a 2tb hdd and startech sata to IDE adapter with 80 wire IDE cable. The hdd isn't a fully loaded one, it allows you to put the content on that you want but does have xbmc4gamers front end and a few games/emulators on there. The Xerc 2 XE allows you to turn the console on/off via the official dvd remote and also fades the eject button LED's on and off when in standby. No controllers included, but I can include a dvd remote if required (albeit with out battery cover) Video of the actual xbox here: £350 plus postage from the UK. So ive formated the drive via install disk. Every time i install new partition and shut down and put the xboz back on. The partition reset and go back as one. 1.8 tb. Please help. Ive tried xbox partiioner and and splitting them. Same problem as soon as i switch it off. Everything resets. Im using a 2.5 inch 2tb drive by the way

what would you say is the best 2TB drive for OG Xbox? the one ive just put in my modded xbox sum time gets stuck on black screen other times takes a bit long to load dash

Working with a 1.0 console with an X3 in it and a loaded 2TB Seagate Barracuda. The drive is split 50/50 between F and G. I flashed a fresh version of BIOS 3294 and now it defaults to 137GB for F and G gets the rest. I'm not sure how to resolve this one. How can I get it to recognize the 50/50 split of F and G? I also reset the configuration to defaults. Thanks. NVM, I found the right option - Disk Tools > New Hard Drive Upgrade > Use Saved Partition Table = Enabled. I was looking everywhere else and didn't think to check that option.

Hello all, Old friend just dug up his OG Xbox. It has an xecuter 2 mod chip. What would I need to do to use a 2TB SATA HDD besides the IDE to SATA adapter? Thanks in advance.

hi there, im sorry for my english i'm dutch so it's far from perfect. I have a problem with upgrading my hdd on my xbox classic, i saw on youtube that i can buy a sata hdd, a convertor to sata and a 80 wire cable. When the xbox starts i get error 16. My drive and the disc are good because with the original hdd it runs hexen 2019. Im a bit of a noob with this so please be gentle with me. I hope some one can help me

So I recently picked up two virgin OG Xboxes at a thrift shop. A rev 1.1 and 1.4-1.5. took apart cleaned and removed the dreaded clock capacitor. Both working. First time owning OG Xbox. Q: If I Softmod my OG Xbox with Rocky5 and want to add a 2TB HDD SATA (plus 80pin IDE ribbon, IDE to SATA adaptor and clone my old HDD to new HDD), can I do that directly or do I need to do a TSOP Flash too? I reviewed these two videos but no mention a Softmod HDD size limitations. My understanding is 2TB in the max. Okayyy so I downloaded the xbox origins and most of it works perfecly, But I got a backup of my savegames and I want to restore my savegames from my childhood. I made a backup using my OLD harddisk which was softmodded and used UnleashX to connect to my PC using ftp. Then I used XBSM45 Savegamemanager and succesfully downloaded all my savegames... Then I put the 2tb origins hard drive back in and used the same program, but now to restore / upload all the savegames... Now I cannot say it was a total faillure...because a lot of savegames are great! rollercoaster or gta san andreas for example... But other games like need for speed or rallisport challenge.. On these games I might see my username, but no scores or whatever... Does anyone know why this is?

I'm after a little help with this. Do you folks have a GOOD link to a Video on exactly how to install a 2TB drive reliably? I'm struggling to figure out the best reliable method on how to do this... Setting up partitions, with what apps etc.. I installed a 500GB IDE in my xbox but it's been nothing but trouble. so I obviously didnt do it the correct way Any help, advice, links or even better for the forum, a post with details, application downloads and images for a walk through. Hey everyone. I've been using a 500GB SATA laptop drive as my main hard drive for a few years now but it seems to be dying. I'd really like to hear your suggestions on what you find is the best quality or most cost effective drive you recommend. Do you use a 2.5 or 3.5 inch drive? Do you like standard, hybrid, or solid state drives? I was probably going to get one of these but if you know of something better, let me know. Well, this question goes to those of you who have done this before. I recently got a TSOP'ed v1.2 xbox with ind bios 5004, 128 mb ram, 1ghz and 160 gb hdd. I also have a chipped v1.6 xbox with 2TB hdd (segate barracuda 7200 rpm) - and i made a clone of this 2TB to put into my TSOP box. I checked that the 2TB cloned hdd (seagate barracuda 5400 rpm) worked fine in my chipped xbox. And it did. Then i took the TSOP xbox, installed a 80 ribbon cable with a startech ide2sat2 adapter (jumper pins to master) and connected my new cloned hdd. [EDIT:] I start it and it a black screen with the letters "ind bios" appear.. i hear the hdd spin up twice... and nothing happens.. then i press eject button twice and the white ind bios splash screen appears, from here it takes some 10-20 seconds until dashboard appears. [/EDIT] On my chipped xbox it takes 10 seconds. What can i do to speed up the boot process ? RUn EVtools on indbios ?

I've noticed that roms on CoinOps take much longer to load when using a PATA-SATA adapter and a 2TB HDD - is this a known issue? Thanks

Softmodded Xbox running Unleash X - 160gb HD (Unsure of model but can retrieve if needed.) Using Startech IDE2SAT2 Converter for cloning process set on Slave 2TB WD Blue Drive WD20EZRZ Once this is cloned successfully I planned on using the Kingwin Model ADP-06 I have swapped IDE cables to the converted sata drive with the Startech Adapter and loaded into Chimp successfully Don't care about games but would like to get saves if possible (The drive is also failing) In Chimp I am cloning out C and E partitions and then selecting "G Occupys Space Beyond 137GB" (New to this so not sure if this is the right option to use.) It completes it's process and I power down the system. But am getting an Error 13 when I plug up the hard drive into the master IDE port with both the startech set as "Master" and the Kingpin on both dip switch settings Am I missing something in this process? Do I need to update my dashboard on my original xbox to make chimp compatible?

I am using a generic IDE to SATA( I have had it forever- cant find any identifiers) & a WD black 2tb. I am getting super slow boot times & random partition corruptions. I have followed the tutorials as far a using xbpart 1.0 to make a 230mb partition, then 1.1 to make it 927.78 w 64k clusters. I feel that I am doing it all right, but G never shows up & F is never the right size in other apps (eolution x - unleash x - XBMC) Also sometimes C or E will just end up 0mb after a reboot. Just gone. I am also getting super slow boot times & am running Yoshihiro-m8-1.6B-Memory-Fixe-Beta4.bin for a bios flashed into the main bank. Any Ideas?

Hi Everyone, I have a Winbond TSOP flashed 1.4 xbox, Using EvoX M8+ F and G bios. Used the Hexen 2018 disc. just upgraded to a WD 2TB HDD. After upgrading I got a black screen. I put everything back to normal (original HDD) and is working. They have some white stuff. Hi, I've managed to swap out the 200GB hard drive on an old Xecuter3 modded Xbox and I've got it to boot to UnleashX, but I'm not sure about the formatting of F: and G. I've tried both setting it to around 927GB for each partition and also tried F 120GB G 1734GB but I seem to remember there are some issues with hard drive sizes and partitions. How should I be setting it up to avoid any data loss as I load up games and apps? Thanks for any help.
