  1. Thank you, I'll try leaving the dvd drive disconnected, and I'll take a look at the motherboard. I'll remove the motherboard from the case, and I'll look at the bottom of the board to see if it's nice and clean. Thanks again
  2. Thank you for the reply. I have a Hitachi DVD drive that was removed from a v1.6 board. I'm also running XBMC dash. So flashing green light can also be a hardware issue? Is safe to rule out the IDE ribbon cable and sata adapter? Thanks again
  3. Hi everyone, I have a tsoped original xbox ver. 1.1 motherboard, clock capacitor removed, and running indi-bios. In rare occasions, when I turn on the console..I get a flashing green light with no image nor sound on screen. What can the green flashing light code mean? I tried unplugging the console from power strip, pressing/holding power button for 30sec. and when I re-connect the console and turn it on..I still get a flashing green light. But usually the console turns on fine. I'm not sure if it's a bad ribbon cable, or a bad sata adapter. I do know I have a foxcom IDE ribbon cable, and I do have a good quality sata adapter. The capacitors on power supply and motherboard look fine, they are not bloated, nor leaking. (capacitors look new) Thanks in advance
  4. Thank you Kaos, I appreciate it. I thought I had to install a new hard drive in xbox, then I was told to run a program called xbpartitioner 1.3 to format the new drive. Then, I can ftp all the folders from my xbox source drive hooked up to my pc to the new drive in the xbox. I am not familiar with xbpartitioner 1.3 and I don't know what options to select. It's a new 2tb hard drive I want to format. But I need instructions on what options to select. Can you please give me a tutorial to follow? Also what brand hard drive 2tb should I buy? I heard not all drives can be locked, or unlocked.?! Thank you again Kaos
  5. Hi guys I have a softmodded xbox and would like to create a backup hard drive in case the softmodded drive in the console takes a dump! I know that the xbox hard drive is nulled! I also ftp'd the E:\ folder wich contains the eeprom.bin file to my pc for backup. Can I just ftp all the folders in the xbox hard drive to my pc to create a backup of entire drive? (I use filzilla to ftp files)
