  1. No not really I just want this for Xbox system link and the occasional FTP.
  2. If I get another switch, should I get a managed switch ?
  3. I will try different pair of Xboxes and see if I can reproduce the issue in these titles and report.
  4. Any Idea why Halo and Conquer work fine on a switch, but these games have an issue ? Is it a possibility I have a DHCP conflict with the older titles ?
  5. I was running some Halo system link no issue. When I switched over to Brute Force and Mechassault the link failed to see another Xbox.I am using a unmanaged switch. I used one of these back i the day https://www.ebay.com/itm/Radica-Gamester-RC73220-LAN-Party-4-port-hub-and-Gamester-power-supply/164263467360?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649. The question is do some of the old games need a hub not a switch for connection ?
  6. IND5004.64 as X3 3294 fails to show games at times.
  7. Ok got it thank you so much. This FTP if going to take some time, lesson learned.
  8. If I have data on that partition and split it to 927.28 each at 64 KB will it erase the data ?
  9. The drive is a functional XBMC setup C D E F Y Z with a F+G
  10. Just double checked yes it is unlocked.
  11. I have a HDD that I want to grab a lot of data off quick and got this error when mounting the drive. Tried another drive and it works fine any ideas ?
  12. The drive can not be locked. I am in the process of filling the drive, but with 64 GB of data running XBMC4GAMERS the system boots in in abut 5-7 seconds after the X3 logo disappears. As SS_Dave noted the this will hit the max speed of the IDE. Verses my Toshiba 1TB drive with the same data boot times are faster and more consistent. At times the Toshiba will fail to POST because the spin up, seek time on startup would cause a HDD failure dashboard error. I believe the big benefit is the stock 40 wire IDE cable can be used saving cost along with no SATA adapter lottery problems.
  13. I have 3 of these https://www.amazon.com/SDHC-40Pin-Male-Adapter-SD-3-5/dp/B07G29TZPS/ref=sr_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=sdhc+to+ide&qid=1595009023&s=electronics&sr=1-2 Also can confirm SDXC 512 GB card works in this unit. SD cards cost much less compared compact flash card with higher capacity. Also I have had no problems with the stock 40 wire IDE cable
  14. Does anyone have or can create a PAL/NTSCJ [NOT USA] cover art for DOAX also has anyone made a Starcraft Ghost files ?
  15. I am sure I can not lower my FSB below 98. The system boots but it has no video output. I started paying around with the GPU to induce some lag and attempt to let the 98 FSB 1GHZ clock speed take up some of the slack of the loss of speed. Sadly with a CPU link speed of 10.5 I no longer believe it possible reach 733 MHz. Maybe I am doing something incorrect with xboverclock. For testing can you send me that working 70 FSB BIOS of any size or type.
  16. 98 FSB Is the lower limit to have video output and POST the system. The best results I have achieved so far is 133 FSB with a GPU clock 150 with the switch in the 733mhz mode. Do you know the FSB output of the 733mhz setting. My guess is 100 FSB but that puts it at 1050mhz. RSC2 speeds have slows but audio is of sync and stops at times. Toggling the switch with these setting in the opening movies does have an effect. Guessing in the dark , I'm concerned about constant flash cycles to my chip. The switch offset is key information as a combination of FSB and GPU speed changes, I believe is needed to achieve this goal. Another thought is the system ram can not run at FSB speeds below 98.
  17. I have also read if a black screen appears after the save launch to update the dashboard with Halo 2 even if you already have done so.
  18. You have to launch the game once without the game saves and create a profile, then move the modified saves into location.
  19. I did test RSC2 something changed audio had massive lag and chop speed was still fast. I will try another BIOS IND not X3 tonight. 70 X 10.5 FSB link should yield 735mhz I will report with results.
  20. I made the BIOS at the listed FSB but XBMC still registers it as 1.4 ghz. Any thoughts would be helpful. What CPU speed switch setting is needed on or off.
  21. Yes thank you again I was looking for a list like this.
  22. Yes it is all ready to go. Just needed some clarification that you have provided Thank you. On a Xblast lite I want to do the same thing but as you know its 512 and 256 I have a 1mb TSOP. What is the INDI BIOS for 128 MB 512k version.
  23. I have some questions on BIOS banks that contain working flashes. If an X3 BIOS bank is booted is this the BIOS that will be flashed with the Phoenix BIOS flash program or is the BIOS config live used. My X3 has all banks flashed Xblast network flash is out. What I want to do is have 3 BIOS settings TSOP Indi for 128mb backup X3 1mb 1.4ghz 133 FSB X3 1.4ghz 98FSB down clocked for compatibility
  24. Thank you for the technical explanation of the mentioned pins. I was erroring on the side of caution when the latest install revision did not match. So basically the unused pins must help with retention for X3 to the LPC.
