Hi, I`ve downloaded ScummVM 1.4.1 and ftped it to my xbox. What kind of "roms" will it work with? I mean, i guess i have to get xbox-specific roms of the games i want such as Monkey Island 1, 2, 3 etc? Tried googling, and searching here but have not found useful information. Thanks a bunch!

So far so good. .bin file ready, ftped it to hdd. I`ve only flashed from hexen disc before. If i go through EvoX for example, where is the menu option to flash the BIOS? I cant find it.

Hi again, Dave. Just red a post in the facebook group where a guy with a 1.6 and Aladdin is had the exact same problem, and solved it! Quote: "So after a year of trying to fix my error problem with shortcuts/boot discs/ numerous attempts by any means to fix this problem I found the fix. So my friend's Smithis And I were talking and I asked about the IGR setting in EVTool that lists 2 different settings. One setting is listed as "more compatible" the other labeled "quick". Everything I have read had told me sata HDD's have a hard time spinning up fast enough before the BIOS error's out. Smithis said to me "go ahead try the quick setting it can't hurt anything". After flashing the Bios with quick IGR settings it freaking worked......IT WORKED. FINALLY!!!!!!!" I have downloaded EVTool. How do i know which BIOS to get and to modify? And, when I have modified it, how do i put it in my xbox?

Hi Dave! I also replied to another thread here with UnleashX xbox crashing when attempting an IGR. The HD is a Seagate 1TB ST31000525SV. I set it up the Hexen 2019 disc, and then with Slayers 3.37 to get UnleashX. No cloning, and since my xbox is chipped i just installed the new drive and Hexen took it from there. Actually, the xbox had that error when i bought it. So also with standard 40-wire IDE cable and the old 120gb IDE hdd. When a have the case open and do the IGR it looks like the HDD is unavailable for the xbox, and after a few attempts it just does not spin the drive. The drive is 100% ok. Having to restart fully between every game change is a pain in the nuts, and also it creates unnecessary wear on the xbox and hdd imo.

Hi Blaine! I think I`m at the same error as you have. UneashX, trying to IGR and it crashes. Then it struggles to spin up the HDD (new hdd, 1 TB Seagate ST31000525SV) so it gives up on the hdd and ends up flashing green. I get nothing on the screen though. I got the 80-wire IDE cable and the sata-IDE adapter. Everything else works perfectly except for the IGR. Did you end up resolving yout issue?

Hi, 1.6 with Aladdin chip Thermal paste replaced 120gb IDE hdd replaced with 1tb SATA (and Sata-IDE adapter plus 80-wire IDE cable) (Bought the xbox with chip and the 120gb hdd installed) HDD formatted properly, UnleashX installed All working beautifully, except for: When i try to IGR (in game reset) using either RT+LT+back+black or LT+RT+back+start the result is the same. It does not reset, it turns off, then turns on again but quite choppy ending with a green flashing front LED and nothing on the screen. Also, the red light on my sata-ide adapter goes on and off when it chops trying to boot. Then it goes to flashing green front LED with no light on the HDD (HDD not running i guess). Any thoughts? Thanks!

Seller says it already contains 4 BIOSes, so I hope I`m set.

Hi, and thanks for your efforts! My Openxenium chip in nice white is in the mail. I do not know if you are the right guy to ask but what happens in between installation and the os? Let me clarify: Im going to install the chip in my original 1.4 xbox using the installation guide found here: https://openxenium.com/diagrams-%26-manuals The next document is just a user manual for the Xenium OS as i understand. I this the correct way to do it all? 1. Install chip 2. Run for example Hexen 2019 to format my new drive and install dashboard(s) 3. Done and good to go\ for ftping games and so on?

I have not located a set that works for the other models yet. But i do need one for me 1.4, same as you.

Hey (Heisann) Removed the clock cap on the 1.4 xbox of course, but on the 1.6 you are no supposed to remove it. It has to be replaced. 1.6 is not like the other models. I am going to replace all the other caps. A set of caps for the 1.6 on was very cheap.

Ok, thanks guys. So Hexen installs UnleashX as a default and then you go from there? Will look into donating. I dont mind paying for such a great effort.

Hi, Awaiting a few parts from ebay im getting ready to put in a new, bigger sata-hdd in my hardmodded Aladdin chipped 1.6 xbox. (Recently bought it, and it was already modded). I see the 2019 Hexen iso in our forum, but for it says "you are not allowed to download this". So im going with 2018. I`ve never done this myself before, leading to my question: When i run the Hexen disc and prep the new drive (partitions and such) which dashboards will Hexen allow me to choose from? EvoX or UnleashX are the ones I have experience with from 15 years ago, so I am thinking I want to have one of them on my xbox. Thoughts or recommendations? Thanks so much for this awesome forum!
