I’ve bought another OX chip, be interesting on the condition of soldering. Where are the BT and D0 wires allow the chip to turn off and on.

Here’s the video….. it’s a shit old Aladdin, they do work…. You still think I’m ryzee119 or affiliated….. I told him I’m not happy with the chip being soldered, he said he did it because the pin header can corrode.

I’m telling you it does work on the old aladdin’s. i have the video showing everything working.

My guess is that he saw that the OX chip you don't solder it, so decided to ruin the chip. May buy another OX chip and see the quality of work. The BT and D0 wires allow the chip to turn off and on (which I did want). If I do buy another OX chip and pin header, can it be turned off and on?

The modshop has finished with the orig xbox and a little disappointed....he soldered the mod chip to the damn pin header.....what would be a 5sec job if the mod chip was to die now makes it hard to swap. Also mainly OCD but he didn't fold the xbox pata cables the same as before. And on the OX modchip pictured above anyone else think the OX/Ryzee119 text looks like he took flux and hot air to it, because he didn't want to install it. Just doesn't look right compared to all the others you see on eBay.......I didn't check before I sent it away, was in a anti static bag (someone else also gave “console mods au” on eBay bad review on bad soldering too but nothing like above). And come to think of it the 360 unlocked PCB I gave him, he said it was dead on arrival yet was official TX product from http://www.modchipcentral.com

The Aladdin modchip guide on how to wire it up had HDD activity on the sheet. No idea how they did dvd drive.

The modshop has finished my orig Xbox. Has alerted me to this issue with my Samsung drive and startech. Is the working solution change it to a cheap chinese adapter? or should I wait till it gets fixed with cerbios?

The modshop is going with an old aladdin chip which is a shame as I wanted Prometheus.

I didn’t make it myself, bought it ages ago off eBay. Finally got the money together to get my orig and 360 modded at the same time.

Finally sent my Xbox orig away to be Modchipped and the installer won’t install it as it looks horrible, from “console mods au” off eBay the reseller for them for Australia.

Is the noctua fan mod worth it believe it runs quieter but also hotter ???

Thanks And if I want to boot into retail bios just do the chip 1.6 small solder. Has anyone have issues or a complete install pic of a “bluemeanie23” lpc board.

So don’t ground d0 on the Xbox but solder the point on the OX (1.6 point on the chip) Doesnt grounding the d0 point tell it to boot from lpc header.

Once installed to be able to boot cerbios and retail bios on a 1.6 Do I solder d0 on this lpc rebuild to ground and then the 1.6 point on the OpenXenium chip.

Is that a pal system which was my original question, these modded cables are cheaper then the Xbox advanced HD pack on eBay. And readable available.

Whats the difference between xbox high definition av pack and 360 modded AV cables for a xbox. According to the person that sells the modded 360 cables you won't notice anything different unless you force 720P/1080i and NTSC. Wouldn't it work just fine on PAL mode?

Thanks to whoever made the Cerbios flash dvd, made flashing the Aladdin chip simple as. When my 'halo combat pack' arrives im going to install a openxenium chip but when it comes to flashing is it the same as the Aladdin chip but I choose xblast os then 256KB off the DVD ?

Does it matter what UDMA you flash to the bios... I have a modded xbox but modchip only if I flash UDMA5 will it shit itself ?

Im a xbox modding newb-ish who has been on the forum for a long time when MVG announced XLink Kai which got my interested in xbox original again.....don't know why I'm roped into this argument. I only like Ryzee119 post as he made a modchip all by himself for free as I understand. And then uploaded all the details to GitHub.

Got a modchip installed in a xbox 1.4 that can be turned off when short pressed power on. What’s the easiest way to upgrade to a 2tb that it can be locked so it still boots factory? Chimp or just use a slayers disc format the new drive then lock it. There is nothing on the original 8GB that I want or need. Do I need to back up the eeprom?
