I'll probably clone my 2TB drive this way and upload it to cloud storage in pass protected rar files. Already did offline clone to another drive for another xbox but I want a cloud saved one.

I know I'm really really late but wow, those are sweet. I always wanted x3cp but didn't have the funds when they came out. Now they cost a fortune.

I didn't replace mine since most custom dashboards can connect to time servers practically on boot. It hasn't bothered me yet.

I'd consider a PSU replacement like pico because I actually had a 1.0 xbox smoke up 3000+ sq walk out basement when I lived with my parents. Fortunately I was able to open doors and windows to air it out but it started at the PSU with big black mark across the system board from PSU. I'm guessing it was the solder points were screwed where it plugs in and probably one of the things that prevents this is that huge wall wart that microsoft released afterwards that can trip if issues arise. Sorry for the rant

Awesome. Figured this was the issue with a buddy's system and now I'm pretty sure it is. I know for a fact that he didn't remove the clock capacitor because when I mentioned it, he'd not heard of the reasoning behind it.
