Johny white good chance the chip is fake on the board. Manfacture id 57. real is 52.

What does this mean? You sourced a genuine 020a chip. I cant remove the chip on this fake crap. Dont have the tools or the know how. But if someone else does. I would send them my two crap chips and some fee to redue mine would be ok with me.

any luck yet with the fake chip. I have the same one with id 57. Would love to update the chip with another bios with no dvd check etc. If you can get into the chip let me know, i would love to send you mine to have updated if possible. thanks.

any luck wirh the fake chip. I got 2 in two xboxs. got the chips from amazon and the chips wont update. manufacture says 57. original should be 52.

Thats what i am thinking. I asked the seller to supply me with a program that can update the chip. They said they are working on it. If nothing soon i will report it to amazon that some sellers are selling fake product.

id is bf device id 57 flash type sst 49lf002a. When i hit y to flash nothing it just sits.

Made it easy for myself on my 1.6. I went and put in a new hard drive. Now its a fresh drive. It formatted and worked. One problem is tried to flash the modchip. And it wound not. Now wondering if the chip is fake or what they changed on the chip and what firmware its using. It works but cant update it. Any help.

What options do i hit. With hexen. Would like to keep the games on the drive. Also what dash should i installl for 1.6. Also have a 1.2 . What dash should i put on that one. Thanks.

Need help 1.6 xbox softmodded on hard drive first with sids5 updated to rockys 5. Recently installed alladin mod chip. What do i do next so i get a dashboard. I have hexen cd and have eeprom key for hard drive. What steps do i do.
