the drive works normally it has been changed at some point I think as it is 20 gig

So I have a crystal xbox, softmodded with what I believe to be a xecutr2 bios. It plays games from drive and disk. It won't allow me to clone the drive or boot up any hexen disk. After cloning the drive says it is locked in chimp but will not boot, it says error 13 unable to boot dash and Hexen just sits there, I know it takes a while to load have left it for half an hour but just sits with the led flashing red and the screen blank. Any one have any ideas (it does boot a copy of auto installerv1.01). Thanks.
