  1. normal x3 bios works as well by the way but i need forced 480p out for best video quality in some games
  2. yup, evox m8plus force480p bios works (tried x2 5035 as well but that didn't work either weirdly..) also i got it from force 480p bios collection archive, which i tried downloading from various sources (xbins, the-eye, these forums)
  3. as i said in first post, i tried both component cables and chimeric systems hdmi adapter
  4. should be X3 3294 v16plus(Force480p).bin just in case i tried flashing non-1.6 bios too, that one makes console reboot for 3 times of course, while 1.6 bios makes console boot normally (i guess? no rebooting happens) but i get no signal
  5. So a day ago I got a 1.6 xbox with x3 (purple) model in it, and decided to flash force480p bios while I am waiting until my 1.4 with xboxhdmi returns from installer. Flashed that bios successfully, but console does not output any video signal. Also, about a year ago I had another 1.6 xbox with x3ce chip, and I do remember that force480p bios worked flawlessly. Anyone knows what the issue could be? Things I tried: Wiping X3 eeprom (a+b+x+y on bootanim) Downloading bios from multiple sources Flashing over various methods (http flash; ftp flash; flash from internal hdd) Flashing on both 1-4 and 5-8 banks Trying with different HD cables (I have component cables and chimeric systems hdmi adapter) Trying on 3 different tvs
  6. Do you know how can I patch the bios like you mentioned? Would be a great way to unleash my x3ce potential too
  7. oh, and, also, how much will european psu will cost for you?
  8. if you haven't read this thread carefully, he lives in argentina, where tv standart is ntsc but sockets output 220 volts instead of 110, and he needed ntsc xbox. all ntsc xboxes are meant for america, which means they all have 110 volt psu, unless you replace it. he also said that he could have just bought a pal xbox and it would have 220 volt psu built in, but it has pal standart instead of ntsc and he could have had saved some money by buying pal xbox and then using that app to switch from pal to ntsc.
  9. you could have just bought a pal xbox, and then used enigmah videomode switch disk, which switches from pal to ntsc eeprom.
