Damn those are bad. Replace ASAP. The disk drive easily could have been swapped (unless the sticker was fresh) but with the rest of the components you mentioned I would definitely say its a 1.3.

I'm assuming thats just a really compact component converter? Is the quality/color reproduction identical or virtual identical to the regular component output? Have you noticed any input lag (there obvious will be some but if its significant is the question). If you ever end up making a few more and want to sell it as a kit I would love to buy one.

1080i can make the console chug pretty hard and result in really low FPS on the few games that support it, so I'd recommend just sticking with 720p. 1080i on this console was a bit before its time.
