I knew it! I got surprised because the lcp sockets were already welded and I was really surprised by this because I don't remember hardmodding it in any way. Long ago like 2010 my father brought my xbox to a friend to mod it, I had this xbox since 2006 brand new. I always thought it was softmodded because I opened it so many times to clean it and there was no chip. After looking the connections welded and some were actually left really dirty I was thinking "this had to be hardmodded with a modchip and then removed" because most of the welding points were already filled with tin. Thanks for your reply, I really didn't know that was a thing! TBH there's nothing like hardmodding, It's really easy to fix a mess or to load dashboards and apps without worrying about "briking it". Thanks again to ogxbox community for helping me out!

It was the 05 and then 21 error after locking the HDD again. I posted the solution on a thread I'll just leave it here if someone have the same problem SOLUTIONS: - ERROR 05: Boot your xbox into the modchip configuration (if openxenium press the eject button). Enter to Disk tools and lock the Hard Drive. - ERROR 21 when trying to boot to Retail Kernel: You need to delete all retail dashboard folders in C partition and copy new ones Clean C and E files . And with this the problem is solved. You can access FPT from unleasX or any other dashboard or using the openxenium modchip

Ok I figured it out sorry for the spam I had 4 files that were not "official" config, evodash, items and original. I wiped all other files and data and just keep those 4, then copied all the data from the zip you shared and worked like a charm! Thanks a lot for your help and sorry!

Sorry I didn't saw the notification. I had it softmoded, tried to copy the files and bricked it, service screeen. Then I bought the openxenium modchip and installed, copied the evoX kernel and Now I can boot it again. But I guess I messed up the retail files by copying the files in here because I got a lot of replace promps. Now It works but the retail doesn't. Attached the files in the HDD. I think I have some more folders from wrongly copying a game data there

Greetings, As the title says I used to have softmodded xbox I did myself years ago, but trying to load the default dashboard through ftp to use the music playlist feature I bricked it and got the service screen on boot preventing it from booting to evodash. So I bought the openxenium chip, installed, loaded the evoX kernel and now I can load into my old custom dashboard and play my games without formatting anything. But the retail kernel entry keeps showing the service screen with a 05 error. I'm sure it's because I copied files to the wrong location when I tried to copy the retail dashboard through ftp and retail kernel files are corrupted. Can someone help me find the retail dashboard files and tell me how and where should I copy it to the HDD without deleting my running evodash? I found the files in a topic here in this webpage I think I got the files from a user called slayer (I'm not sure I don't remember well enough) but I'm so dumb I copied the files wrong Thanks a lot!

Hello, I'm just here to ask if there's any risk of copying those files into my long lasting modded xbox and loading the original ms dashboard. I just need it to copy music from cd's and create playlist.
