Seagates… all you need is serial adapter. USB to TTL. A Few serial commands and you have your password. Western digital is a bit harder … you need a PC with IDE ports. tools exists though. A modchip with prometheOS is able to be passwords of both drives. My tool (picoPromSD) can get the passwords of seagates. If you still have original Xbox… my tool can also grab the eeprom backup which can be used for unlocking both drives. -
Just in case you didn’t know this existed… works great and is functional on Insignia!! https://consolemods.org/wiki/Xbox:EyeToy_Mod_Guide I reprogrammed my eeprom (on camera) so that I didn’t need to modify the chat app

Nope. Which drive do you have? Are you looking to unlock the drive or the actual hard drive key. (Key ard password are two different things) -
Yes. D0/Lframe works on OXs… and will work on Aladdins (Lattice CPLDs) soon

Easiest is unlock the drive (if oem)(with picoPromSD… if WD, or prometheOS (either type). Then use picoPromSD to grab eeprom and lock drive with Fatxplorer
