  1. I recently chipped a Xbox Rev 1.0, for some reason when I play legit discs on my Xbox it doesn't freeze, but when I play games on the HDD in particular Oddworld Stranger's Wrath it freeze after five minutes in-game however if you press the eject button it goes back to dashboard safely. I don't know if it's botched solder on my modchip, overheating, or caps.
  2. So, it's not a HDD controller error or anything wrong with the motherboard?
  3. I want to restore a retail HDD for my hardmodded Xbox till my SATA HDD arrives. The 160GB HDD I was using died (Gave Error Code 9) the rest of the Retail HDD I tried just gave out error 16 and couldn't boot onto HeXen. I tried Slayer's and it couldn't detect the HDD or can't unlock it. It gives an Unlock Error. I am at a lost on what to do. I'm still waiting for my SATA to IDE adaptor and SATA HDD. So, I'm at a lost if it's a hardware error on the motherboard or the hard drive is just screwed. OG Xbox is a 1.1 Hardmodded with an Aladdin XT
  4. The modchip was already there when I got it, the chip's BT wire came loose booted fine for an hour and played a game, then won't even get passed splashscreen now. Picture of motherboard: https://imgur.com/a/D5EZX9c
  5. It's a chipped (Aladdin Advance) Rev 1.0 OG Xbox. It's quick soldered (not using the pins, D0 grounded to (https://imgur.com/a/jdytwmN), I removed clock capacitor as well it didn't leak. I tried it without the chip on. Same problem. Put new thermal paste on both cpu and gpu. Same problem. I don't know if it's the modchip or the Xbox is actually broken.
