  1. Very very cool mod. Might need to do this to my Slim now. Haha.
  2. Went camping out of town so haven't been active for a bit. Anyway. I bought an assortment of small brushes from Hobby Lobby and used the smallest available. One coat of white and then I just paint over it with whatever color. Used Testor model paint. Takes a bit of practice as you have to be very gentle so the bristles don't separate, overlap the lettering, and touch the face plate. If you want something similar in size and raised to practice on, go into McDonald's and get a drink. On your way out snag a handful of small lids. The McDonald's "arches" are perfect to practice on and are free. Lolol.
  3. Well, wtf. Lol. Looks like a re upload is in order.
  4. I actually have two that I use now. It's much easier than hooking up a splitter each time and also if someone would happen to run into the power issue it'd be a great alternative. I have my main one screwed up to the underside of my PC desk so I can power my E3 Flasher for offboard PS3 NOR flashes and also my Progskeet for PS3 NAND flashes. Have a second one that is strictly for the OG Xboxs.
  5. Not really an Xbox mod, but when I do v1.6 softmods a rigged ATX PSU comes in handy to clone your hard drive without having to power it from the Xbox. You can cut off the entire harness and wire up the two wires to a toggle switch rather than having a wire hanging. It also works well to test your LEDs before hooking them up! 3.3v, 5v, and 12v. Anyway. Enjoy!!

  8. Video from my YouTube channel on how to wire up an HDD indicator LED just for the hell of it. Lol. Enjoy!
  9. Haha yeah I let one of mine sit a little too long and it fogged up. Decided to sand the top a little and give it a "frosted" look and it actually turned out pretty decent. Hard to see the Xbox lettering from the angle but it's still there.
  10. Great tutorial! Goof Off works extremely well but you can't let it sit too long or it'll leave little "stress" cracks on the front of the jewel. I put a few drops into a pickle jar lid and then drop the jewel in face down for 3 seconds. Then get to scrubbing! Tires your hand and fingers out a bit, but it's well worth the finished product! That red looks amazing with that cut out.
  11. Used to allow the cloning of hard drives for softmodded consoles. Burn it to a disc. Features are : check connected drives, hard drive cloning, check security status, locking/unlocking (never unlock your original hard drive. EVER!!), shell commands, etc. Awesome tool to have! http://www.mediafire.com/file/uhwj037vsb6gj3s/Chimp2618.zip

  15. I have noticed over the years that some devices don't like to be formatted on the Xbox and won't produce that one specific error you want in order to format it. Had this floating around on my Mediafire so figured I might as well post it here for those that don't have it. http://www.mediafire.com/file/8izx2p16papozbj/USBFATXFormatter_v1_3_2.rar
  16. Great tutorial! Very well put together and so easy to understand on a beginner level. I didn't see anything about Static connectivity so I am going to add this just in case someone has a similar scenario as I do. I have my main desktop PC that I use basically for storage and mods. It never goes online and it is what houses all of my Games as well as all my Xbox content. So using DHCP and going through the modem wouldn't work for me unless I took my desktop online. So I will add the static configuration just in case. PC setup for Static IP - Open Network and Sharing center. Click adapter settings. Right click your LAN port and hit properties. Left click on Internet Protocol Version 4 (IPV4) and hit the properties button below. Select Use the following IP address. IP Address - 192.168.0.1 Subnet Mask - 255.255.255.0 Default Gateway - 192.168.0.2 (This will be your Xbox's IP) Once that is done, select Use the following DNS server addresses and leave it blank. Hit okay. Hop onto your Xbox. Go down to System - Select Settings - Select Network. Make sure your cable is not plugged into the Xbox. Scroll down to Type and hit Static instead of DHCP. IP address - 192.168.0.2 Subnet Mask - 255.255.255.0 Gateway - 192.168.0.1 DNS 1 and DNS 2 - 192.168.0.1 Listed below it will tell you what the default username and password are, as well as the port number for FTP. You will need these once you get to your FTP client in order to communicate. Save the settings. Turn off the Xbox, plug the cable in, turn the Xbox on. You should see an IP address on the main screen saying 192.168.0.2 Static. Hope this helps those that don't want to use DHCP.
  17. Went through and grabbed a bunch of emulator covers a while back. Might as well share these too. I think they look pretty good for the most part. Enjoy! Emulator Icons - http://www.mediafire.com/file/hza8sx5d3j0pc6k/UnleashX+Emulator+Covers.zip
  18. Not sure where I got these but figured I would share them with the forum since I am sure many people would be able to utilize them with their dash skin. Anyway, if anyone knows who made these let me know and I will credit them in this post. UnleashX Dashboard Icons - http://www.mediafire.com/file/0nu8lu3u8opfsq0/UnleashX+Dash+Icons.zip
  19. Here ya go. Just uploaded them. 3 of yours are in there as I just had to have a few of them. Lol. http://www.mediafire.com/file/4011ls3k0h5igk7/UnleashX+Skin+Pack.zip

  22. Ooohhh. I like these. Lol. Very nice work! I also have a pack with about 100 skins. Not sure where I got it as it's been so long, but there are quite a few good ones.
  23. Been lurking around the FB page since shortly after it was started. Decided to join the forums since I will have some time on my hands come the end of August. Located in Northwest Iowa and have been modding Original Xbox consoles for many, many years as well as Jailbroken Playstation 3's, RGH Xbox 360's, and many more consoles.
