  1. Ended up flashing the Tsop with the EvoX bios and boots right up. A bummer that the chip will no longer flash, I saw that there is a programmer made for the X2.6 chips using a pc but haven't found one available yet. Thanks again
  2. Alrighty sounds good i'll reroute them around the motherboard. I cleaned the old solder and resoldered each pin but the same error occurs. Not a big deal it is still booting to the dash with the chip enable switch off. Thanks for the help, if I end up figuring it out any further i'll post what I find.
  3. Okay that's good to know. When flash protect is on the led is green and red when switched off same for the enable switch. Cleaned the switch and seems to be making contact when toggling back and forth. Here is a picture of the bottom of the lpc port, I went over each of the points of the port along with D0/lan/hdd and still get the same 08/9 failed to flash error. Wondering if the chip is damaged by the inital flash? Thanks for the input
  4. Here are a few pictures of the install. The flash initially worked, X2 config loaded and went to the dashboard. The Flash Protect switch is off but still unable to flash a new bios on either bank. Also unsure about the D0 wire as I tried both top and bottom points. It did initially flash with the bottom side point. XBlast Os says the modchip is unsupported. These are the two guides I referenced http://web.archive.org/web/20141027151046/http://team-xecuter.com/x3/tutorials/x3pin16.htm and https://command-tab.com/static/x3_ce_v10_v16.pdf as I couldn't find a specific X2.6Ce install guide. Thanks again
  5. Hi, I recently installed a Xecuter X2.6CE modchip into a v1.4 console. Flashed the x2_4983.06_256k.bin Bios file to bank1 with FlashBios. It intitially worked but after restarting a second time the console no longer boots to the dashboard (2 restarts followed by no display(green/red) on both bank 1 & 2. If chip enable is off it still boots to stock dash/unleashx. I have tried reflashing with Xblast via HeXen and FlashBios but an "Flash Not Writeable" error appears whether the chip enable is on/off. I tested both top/bottom side D0 points. Any ideas on what I can try to reflash the chip? Thanks
