  1. Just done a v1.1 myself. Did get a bridge on chip 3 and whilst going to test on a Jafar loaded with Xblast, it started beeping. Just for future reference. All good now, just wicked it away. Quite easy to spot if you look at a cut across of the board at the chip pins, you've added.
  2. You can easily get 2 uses and likely more on stronger colours if you disturb the sediment well with an electric whisk or cement whisk and wait 30 mins once up to temp
  3. No problem, I don't provide colour times for other consoles but its 3.5 hours for Orange. Like to keep one step ahead as the best and many people nipping at my heels
  4. Here you go mate, not too shabby for a first attempt at a reproduction of a reproduction
  5. Its on YouTube mate but read the spiel as its a little outdated (user: officialgaminguys)
  6. I've had it all made already mate, crystal jewel puck and dvd bezel so its going ahead. I buy maybe 5 crystals a week so I can do Xbox ones too, however, not going to waste the money I spent on the parts being manufactured. I've already started this evening by removing the jewel guides from the crystal and it gets dipped tomorrow. See what you think at the end. It's only a nod to XCM for even bothering reproducing the case. Most of them look dog tired as well so I'm reproducing with a genuine case... what they reproduced lolz
  7. I saw a couple of other orange that looked a bit crap and thought I could do better. Then I posted my orange Halo Artistic and it just blew up
  8. Well it won't look like XCM unless it has the lettering
  9. As there is extremely little chance of getting an original XCM in the UK I have been working on making myself a replica red one. I've been dyeing crystals for about 7 months now and am very good at it. I've had the DVD Drive lettering and Crystal puck jewel re-produced but those parts are not here yet, however I did make the case. Some of you may have seen it on Facebook. This one was just the colour tester, the next one will be the one I use. I managed to buy some old red parts inc DVD Bezel, eject button and a snapped front for referencing and colour matching. My plan is to sand the lettering off the DVD bezel before dying then add the XCM lettering afterwards. UV glue the jewel in place and well the rest is pretty much done apart from swapping out the controller logo which I hadn't really thought of.
  10. Great informative post. I'm going to try and recreate a red soon. I have some reference parts coming from Tony Kuberka but I won't be doing anything to pass these off as legit, just some of us will never get the genuine article. Tough enough to get X3CP's in the UK, would be exceptionally lucky to find one of these and I love my Xbox designs.
  11. Clearing a few spare black OG Xbox. I have between 4-7 but need to check through them as its been a while and need to weed my spare coinops from the pack. Can post UK only One has a little chip coming out the front but not familiar with it. All for sale will boot but may need servicing so sold as working spares. I also have a few dukes I'll never use as I find them uncomfortable and some 3rd party S controllers too. Let me know what interests.
  12. I noticed nobody seemed to have done a visual library of the OXM demo case covers which makes it extremely hard for anyone collecting them, so I did it. You can find all 61 covers (although I hear rumours of a 62nd) You can download them in batches of 10 covers Hopefully helps a collector with searches or will let you print off a temp cover You can check it out here hopefully it helps someone who's an Xbox fan out
