Good evening, I use exactly the same adapter as STEO1024. I have no problem or lags. But because I am a bit perfectionnist, I always change the two caps by panasonic caps, and had a solder bridge in order to remove the jumper. bbye

Hello, if you have a 1.0, you have a second pinout. If you have a newr board until 1.4, you can solder a 3 pin socket. bye

I repair also Xbox for many years, but I am here for not a long time. My wife will kill me, I have 14 xbox to sell, it takes a bit of place !!!! The last one was a challenge, corosion, needs to re-wires 3 of the 4 wires under board, two tracks were burned because of clock capacitor leaked, and caps needed to be partialy replace. bye Stéphane

Hello, Does the xbox works properly when you switch it on ? Can you confirm that this is the original PSU ? If yes, check with a multimeter if all outputs are correct. The most iimportant is the 5V, it has to be set between 5 and 5.1. Is it a foxlink or a delta PSU ? Could you share a picture without HDD and CDROM installed ? Bye

Are you sure you flashed a 1.6 bios like Evo bios ? Because you may know that you have to flash a specific bios when using a 1.6 Xbox. Bye

Hello, do you use original HDD or a SATA HDD with an ide to SATA adapter ? If yes, do you use a 80 pins ide Ribbon ? Can you check if your cpu capacitors are fine ? Can you check if the 5volts outgoing power supply is at least 5v, a 5.1v is a good value. Bye

For all version except 1.6, you can use IND 5004.67 or IND5003.67 If, this is for 1.6 and later, you have to use EVOX M8 PLUS 1.6 CEF They are both 256kb bye

I confirm Samspin reply, you can either use a modchip time to change/reload software and relock HDD, else you can use ponyprog and a serial reader (on a old laptop for example) to catch your eeprom in order to prepare a new hdd with XBHDM. I think, it's quicker add a modchip. I which country are you ? Bye

Hello, I have a lot a questions to help you: Which bios do you use on your alladin ? Evox 1.6 ? Which dvd drive brand do you use ? Some reads only DVD-RW, other reads only DVD-R ... Don't you forget to use an ATA 100/133 ribbon ? Did you cross HDD, on the one you need is lock on another console ? bye
