  1. Hello,

the cpu caps have to have a very low ESR (internal resistance) and of course at least he same voltage or more, and of course the same capacity. But when I recap an XBox or an Atari PSU or an Amiga 500/2000, I always  choose caps with the longest MTBF lifespan. Jackon has not the worst reputation, but they are far from the best. I you want to keep an electronic device for a long time, or if you want to sell it with a maximum of serenity, I would advice you to buy Panasonic FR Series.

Yes, i's a bit more expensive, but no so much if you also think to preserve earth by lengthening the lifespan of the product you repair. Last times, I started to also change output psu caps, because even if they are still goods if only speaking about µF, when I checked them about ESR, they were 0.7 ohm whereas the Panasonic were 0.06 ohm, so ten times less. You can look at this nice explaination, also exist in english:

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Equivalent_series_resistance

This is only an advice, you are really free to do what you want. You have to be really proud to have repaired a nive Xbox.

    Congratulations,

    bye

  3. Hello, in this forum, even if you are french, you have to speak / write in english.

I am french, and really if you need some help, first try to ask clearly what you want, in english ! Else use google to translate.

Moreover, in this world, if you can' write properly in english, you will be lost.

  4. Hello,

at the end of the rebuild using torrent app, you will obtain a Xbox_Origins_2TB.imgc file, this is a compressend image disk.

You will have to use HDD RAW COPY TOOL 1.10 from www.hddguru.com. Pick first imgc file, then choose the right HDD and wait the night long. Put you destination HDD in sata or external sata.

Wait and you will have the most delicisious HDD for Xbox

  5. Good evening,

as nothing seems to be out of order, I would rather first prepare a new hdd. As this is a debug kit, you could use an unlocked disk only if you boot on the official recovery disk that permit to choose between debug bios and commercial bios.

    Please look at: https://www.ogxbox.com/forums/index.php?/topic/1881-devkit-recovery-collection/

    bye

  6. Hello,

first, gently clean your ram pads with flux and a solder cupper remover. Then, install an Aladin XT lite with Xblast lite firmware, you will be able able to boot after each memory added in order to see if you job is ok before going the next chip.

    Where do you live ?

    bye
