Returning To Softmodding After Years

Tonight I will install a softmod on a non-sofmodded xbox with the xbox softmodding tool. -
It has been a long time since I softmodded my ogxbox halo special edition. Used to softmod for friends and possibly 20 xboxes passed by my house for softmodding. Looking for what's new in softmodding because I want to finally put a bigger hard drive.
