  1. You can buy the displays in differnt colors: https://www.amazon.de/-/en/AZDelivery-Characters-Background-Compatible-Raspberry/dp/B0822QV8HK https://www.amazon.de/-/en/AZDelivery-Characters-Background-Compatible-Raspberry/dp/B0822QDYSC/ Sadly I was not able to find a 4x20 red/black or red/white one. Thanks but it' not as nice as it could be. But, it was just a quick try to see if it will work when cuting off the top or if there something you dont see and it will break. If you put some more love and time into it, it could turn out pretty nice. There are some little things I would do different next time. Never done that but I would start with drilling a hole and then do the rest a small file. Before that I would practice. Hopefully you didn't touch the image? Forgot to put a warning on the image not to touch it.
  2. Since I didn't have found a topic for this I createt this one just to talk and show of some things. So, we all know that the HD44780 2004 version is a little big. Little me read a lot and found some ppl. cuting the bottom of. Yeah, I also did one of those and removed the controller ports 3&4 (Who has 3 frinds anyway?). I like the look with the 2 ports removed ( Picture : Click me softly ) but no one ever has cut of the top or at least, I didn't found any infos about that. So brave how I am I grabed my mighty cuting tool and wuschhhhh, 1 finger gone cut of the top. Soldered some cables to the vias and what can I say, You can totaly do that: Some of the pictures which I have taken incl some notes : https://imgur.com/a/SxdDdcA Full Picture Pack DL (31.46 MB) : https://1fichier.com/?uiz9bwiv6xdiwq1ylog9 And some thing else. How it looks, the green displays are slightly better as the blue ones. How ever, maybe some search the info and this one can help him a little. EDIT: And excude the horrible trace soldering. It was just to see if it would wörk at the end so didn't want to win a price with it.
  3. Yes. I have a leak of some spare X3CP's. I do not own 1 at all. I also miss some spare white, blue, orange and ghost cases. So if you wanna send me some over....
  4. Sweet. I will add some credits to both (MC Flasher and Installer) for the bioses. And ofc a word of warning like I already did for the Cerbios UDMA5 and Titan UDMA4/5 bioses.
  5. Damn thats sweet. Are you ok with it I'm using these for my Installer and MC Flasher?
  6. Useful? Hmmm.... Maybe, some times if you have one chip you use to set up xbox'es. You would also need a memory chip (~256MB up to 4GB) for it on the mod chip which can also be updated by the user. Maybe it could be done using an USB interface on the modchip so you could run apps of a usb stick strait from the chip. But you would need someone like Ryzee or kekule to tell 100% for sure if thats possible and what it would cost to build those chips. I would guess $100.00 + - X for one if someone would do a limeted run with ~ 500 - 1000 chips as some spcial thing as pre order only so they can be sure to sell all of them.
  7. Come on, that front panel dosen't match the skeleton xbox. You need to send the frontpanel to me for my crystal xbox.
  8. Not a listing but I have 1 or 2 spare jewels : https://imgur.com/a/8rprmAz
  9. Just a little repack of the 2.03r. Changes: I have createt 512kb and 1024kb version of the UDMA2 and UDMA5 for the ones which can't do it or don't want do it on there own. Read about that on discord the last time so here is a pack which contains all versions in one pack (256/512/1024 as UDMA2 & UDMA5). Downloads: https://1fichier.com/?uoyvyflqkh4v9lq7yk8g https://mega.nz/file/NMU2ybha#dNyfE7uuaL0FIhaWCYW_Sdq4VyDZ6IyAbati15Q-OhY
  10. Let's sum that up. Modding his virgin xbox. Solder a modchip to it or TSOP flash it. Both involve bios flashing. Update HDD (IDE/SATA). Setup the HDD (Installer/FatXplorer). Updating the SmartXX xbox. Update the HDD (IDE/SATA) Setup the HDD (Installer/FatXplorer). Flash a bios which is super easy with the samrtxx and less risky than TSOP flashing or flashing a different modchip (some exception here are Xecuter/XBlast/OpenXenium ect). So the easyer task by far is just to update the smartxx xbox. No soldering needed, less to no risk of breaking the xbox by flashing a wrong bios (thx o the smartxx). I seriously recomend to go with the smartxx first before building up something from scratch.
  11. Slayers can't be launched from that menu. It's just a bios selction screen. I assume it's the Slayers EvoX bios with Slayers boot logo (EvoX m2.7 but not to sure here). So I would get a new HDD, IDE or SATA+Adapter and set up a new HDD using OGXBox Installer or FatXplorer. After that you should consider to flash a more up to date bios. For that you can use the remote flasher software or more simple the SmartXX HDD flasher option in the Smart menu. For that you just have to have the bios.bin somewhere on your HDD.
  12. Don't try to figure me out. I'm görman and twisted in a very special way.
  13. I would assume that UDMA5 will also work with an IDE HDD. I see no reason why it should not as long as the HDD supports the UDMA mode.
  14. I like to add the Renkforce RF-4886682, Conrad ST-106 (Not to sure if you can get these outside of good old görmany) and the Delock 61702 also support UDMA5. I have testet all these adapters my self (incl. the Startech and Delock 62510).
  15. Yeah, every time I read " screw hole "I have that song from Violent Femmes - Added Up in my head. It defently is a filthy filthy word and should be blacklisted.
  16. Grounding mounting holes. And I can tell you why. It's "screw hole" instead of "screwhole". You're welcome.
  17. All of them have the Marvel conroller chip and the first 4 are 100% the same adapters. The Delock 61702 is EOL but still some around on eBay & Co.
  18. StarTech IDE2SAT2 Delock 62510 Renkforce RF-4886682 Conrad ST-106 SATA Adapter Delock 61702
  19. Ofc I see that massage and even more, I wrote it. Sloppy development? From which I have heard Sony QLED TV's have problems with the MakeMHz adapters. Not to sure about others.
  20. If you create XISO's with the "new" Repackinator app you end up with a large XISO because it didn't shrink the ISO/XISO. If you unpack the ISO and create a XISO with Xdvdmulleter you get smaller XISO's. About TITAN / Cerbios. I use TITAN+128MB patch the last time because idc for boot animations and such. And I love the 1 partition thing TITAN uses. Titan would be pefect perfect for me if gaasedelen could fix the IGR and add the 128MB support right into his patch. But real life goes first.
  21. I think *DANGER: Brain processing....* that I don't build a Stella XBox. The HD+ already has 5 revisions, I wait for the Interstella(r) version. (And even then I probably don't build one). I don't have the need for it. I'm a simply guy which is happy with TSOP flash and simple Wii2HDMI adapter for personal use. And building one to sell it would be a 6 month sale (or longer). Here in görmany the ppl. aren't that crazy about XBox or at least they are not willing to pay for it. Tell someone here that he needs to pay at least *Try to do math, please be quiet and stand by...* ~250,- - 350,- Euros for an 128MB XBox with HDMI + Startech + HDD would be endup showing you the finger. They also will tell you thy doing it on there own because they think it's simple as f***. (Yea, it's simple as f*** to f*** up your XBox ) And the 256MB of ram thing sounds good but for what? It would be nice if they provide game patches to make use of the extra ram but I don't think that this will be the case and also questionable if it makes a real world different if a game could use the extra ram. Finaly, I read somewhere that there will be an updatet version of the Titan patch which fixes some things like IGR but not to sure if that still will happen. So I guess time will tell... Team Cerbios is working on a version for 1.6. It just need some more time. And I think I have to disagree on the folder - xiso thing. Lamborghini XISO : 1.477.902.336 Bytes Folder : 1.477.246.406 Bytes Burnout 3 XISO : 2.955.935.744 Bytes Folder : 2.955.131.725 Bytes Advent Rising XISO : 4.521.656.320 Bytes Folder : 4.520.246.236 Bytes Would these some bytes realy blow your HDD? How ever, maybe they load slower which I can't confirm since I never used a XISO.
  22. Rocky5 has made a EvoX m8+ XISO BFM bios. I wonder if it would be possible doing a XISO version for EvoX-TITAN. Sure all bioses are based on hacked or leaked code with some small exceptions of Cromwell, Gentoox, XblastOS. And I wrote once what I think about what gaasedelen wrote that he's not coding for hacked bioses and stick to EvoX (Which is also warez if you will so). Base line was "It didn't look good on his vita". MakeMHz in my eyes is the new "Team Xecuter". It's all about the money. Finaly if Team Cerbios is not able to reverse engineering the HD+ stuff to support it with there bios, cerbios is only of interest for ppl without MakeMHz mod and yes, it will splitt the small group of ogxbox users further. How ever, there must happend something in the past (we are not aware of) that both partys are not willing to team up or at least give each other "support". (I guess again it's about money or just to big egos (#TeamXecuter). At the end you have as user have to decide what you want. Cerbios or MakeMHz. And.... Maybe, just maybe team cerbios could grab the HDMI mod from Ryzee and make there own stuff as open source. *Just wonder *
  23. Here is a link to the one I have. https://www.vevor.de/stereo-mikroskop-c_11070/vevor-3-5x-90x-stereomikroskop-einstellbar-vergroesserung-doppelarmstativ-labor-p_010928864370 Vevor has a UK store too but not to sure if they also have one in the US. The guy in the video has the smaller baby version of it. EDIT : A short video (Note: It comes with a barlow lens 0.5x and 2x and the camera thing you see in the video). You just need a cheap light ~25,- Dollar/Euros
  24. He could TSOP right away without softmodding. JUST saying.
  25. Video link: click Edit: YT may need some time atm....
