Yep. That was it. Connected to 16:9 TV and it worked fine. The start up menu was fine on the 4:3 and it supports component so I don't know why it only did this on the game. Thanks for the help.

I got an Halo xbox a bit back and I am not too familiar with the common xbox issues. I fired it up recently and saw my screen split in two when loading a game. Any one know what the issue is and what the fix would be?

I got a copy of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell and noticed it was a Not For Resale version. Was this originally part of a bundle or something?
