This stream auto-updates

  1. Past hour
  2. Very briefly, could you just tell me where to put it and anything else that may be necessary first? I use XBMC4XBOX. I'm just not familiar with addons. Sad, because the profiles I'm seeing in this thread are no longer active after 5 years. lol.
  3. But why sad? Shouldn't it be exciting to see the OG xbox getting some new life? And yeah, you nailed it. Those files basically contain the URL to the actual stream location of https://www.toonamiaftermath.com/ Way back when, there was a XBMC addon that supported Toonami Aftermath more natively but using the file browser is the only way I found that still works. Toonami Aftermath itself is a recreation of Toonami from back in it's hey-day. It's got EST and PST streams that are identical except for the PST being a couple hours behind. I enjoy running it on a Xbox through a CRT for a extra nostalgia hit
  4. Would somebody be willing to detail how to do this and exactly what it is? I'm not entirely sure based on reading the thread. Seems like it's basically a file that points to files hosted on a server somewhere. Can I just drop this in a directory and go? It's kinda' funny to see all these profiles that I don't recognize... and a little sad.
  5. Today
  6. This should be fixed with an upcoming firmware (Aladdin xblasts are confirmed to be fixed… so assume this should be too)
  7. Which models exactly ? From all the research I did, it boils down to the bridge that changes the psu mode. And the appropriate capacitor to not die to the new voltage. (When changing 110v to 220v). And to maybe bring back the Z1 Varistor, unfortunately I threw mine in the trash, so I'm not able to send the specs here. But if you have a power strip with surge protection, you should be safe.
  8. As you are using Cerbios, try a CCI file of the game and see if that works for you.
  9. Could you maybe detail a bit where this acquired, what it's original specs were, what the CPLD flash was supposed to do (1MB upgrade maybe?) and whatever else? I'm interested.
  10. Whats this in the red circle? is this flux or a solder splash?
  11. After bought and flash CPLD in Aladdin Advance(was selling as XT2+) I've need figure out why fragging my 1.6 consoles. Debugging with datasheet of LC4032V I've discover jumper between B8 and B10(L1 and D0 respectively in XT)... Just cut B8 trace and solder wire directly in pin leg. Profit!
  12. I have 2 PAL PSUs that I cannot use because I'm in USA. Wish I could convert them.
  13. If you all you wanna watch is Toonami Aftermath, you can dump the attached folder on your Xbox and use the file browser to open the .strm files Toonami Aftermath for XBMC.zip
  14. As far as I know, Aladdins made in this decade don't have a working D0.
  15. Aladdin's usually have a shitty d0 pad. I'm actually surprised it was booting off the lpc

    Two boxes, one system

Didn't realize how much traction this thread got well I was tearing it apart I did read up on the Stellar some more. I'm content with the Aladdin setup for now. Single bios and works for what I need. If I get into the 1.4ghz stuff, I will re-evaluate that decision. I could bath the board in ISO, I did already wash what ever I thought looked like trouble. If there's any other pics needed, let me know
  17. Yeah that soldering looks alright.

Yeah, most don't like my ideas... Either way, I was looking at getting a budget hot air station. Unless you have recommendations, youtube is full of all sorts of crazy ideas. I'm well aware I can send it out but, in the long run, I'm gonna be better off learning this shit myself. I did try pulling the chip and disconnecting the d0 from it. Still same boot loop and red/green light I ordered a 1.4 donor xbox to play with too. Was gonna try swapping PSU's for the hell of it. Any points I should test with a multi-meter to get some ideas? Below are some board pics
  19. Yesterday
  20. Doesn't hurt to inspect the solder work as a sanity check though. I had a 1.6 with a shitty rebuild that got artifacts and froze. After I rebuilt the rebuild and fixed the lpc header it worked. Probably not their issue but you never what job was done.
  21. He had to refund said was away on holidays and to try buy elsewhere is overseas and your looking at $100+ AUD to get one to my door.
  22. Right, I forgot about the wired xbox one controller support. I never installed that update. But its stil overpriced. It also wont help the TS with his problems, as the chip will likely be not his problem.
  23. it can't natively use Xbox one or series X controllers
  24. I think it has nothing to do with the lpc or chip, a modchip will not cause artefacts in image. What it can be is that there is a small bit of solder came loose by rough handeling and is now stuck between the legs of one of the ram cips or the encoder chip for example. A stellar looks nice, but is overpriced, the only thing where it stands out is with 1.4ghz upgraded cpu consoles, otherwise your aladdin with cerbios can do everything what stellar can do. But thats my opinion. I have one and did go back to an xblast in that console.
  25. I may give that shot since I can't find any concrete information. I really don't want to bork a psu or even worse, an entire motherboard. Thanks for the input
  26. I like the stellar chip and I think it's a great chip. Your options of reflowing the lpc are both bad ideas and I advise against. Maybe you should consider sending the mobo to someone who knows what they're doing. What I mean by booting retail and disconnecting d0 from ground and booting into the stock bios on the tsop. You cannot swap stock Xbox HDDs because they are married to the motherboard. You need to unlock them or hardmod the console.
