  2. If you all you wanna watch is Toonami Aftermath, you can dump the attached folder on your Xbox and use the file browser to open the .strm files Toonami Aftermath for XBMC.zip
  3. As far as I know, Aladdins made in this decade don't have a working D0.
  4. Aladdin's usually have a shitty d0 pad. I'm actually surprised it was booting off the lpc

    Two boxes, one system

Didn't realize how much traction this thread got well I was tearing it apart I did read up on the Stellar some more. I'm content with the Aladdin setup for now. Single bios and works for what I need. If I get into the 1.4ghz stuff, I will re-evaluate that decision. I could bath the board in ISO, I did already wash what ever I thought looked like trouble. If there's any other pics needed, let me know
  6. Yeah that soldering looks alright.

Yeah, most don't like my ideas... Either way, I was looking at getting a budget hot air station. Unless you have recommendations, youtube is full of all sorts of crazy ideas. I'm well aware I can send it out but, in the long run, I'm gonna be better off learning this shit myself. I did try pulling the chip and disconnecting the d0 from it. Still same boot loop and red/green light I ordered a 1.4 donor xbox to play with too. Was gonna try swapping PSU's for the hell of it. Any points I should test with a multi-meter to get some ideas? Below are some board pics

  9. Doesn't hurt to inspect the solder work as a sanity check though. I had a 1.6 with a shitty rebuild that got artifacts and froze. After I rebuilt the rebuild and fixed the lpc header it worked. Probably not their issue but you never what job was done.
  10. He had to refund said was away on holidays and to try buy elsewhere is overseas and your looking at $100+ AUD to get one to my door.
  11. Right, I forgot about the wired xbox one controller support. I never installed that update. But its stil overpriced. It also wont help the TS with his problems, as the chip will likely be not his problem.
  12. it can't natively use Xbox one or series X controllers
  13. I think it has nothing to do with the lpc or chip, a modchip will not cause artefacts in image. What it can be is that there is a small bit of solder came loose by rough handeling and is now stuck between the legs of one of the ram cips or the encoder chip for example. A stellar looks nice, but is overpriced, the only thing where it stands out is with 1.4ghz upgraded cpu consoles, otherwise your aladdin with cerbios can do everything what stellar can do. But thats my opinion. I have one and did go back to an xblast in that console.
  14. I may give that shot since I can't find any concrete information. I really don't want to bork a psu or even worse, an entire motherboard. Thanks for the input
  15. I like the stellar chip and I think it's a great chip. Your options of reflowing the lpc are both bad ideas and I advise against. Maybe you should consider sending the mobo to someone who knows what they're doing. What I mean by booting retail and disconnecting d0 from ground and booting into the stock bios on the tsop. You cannot swap stock Xbox HDDs because they are married to the motherboard. You need to unlock them or hardmod the console.
  16. I think that you only need to solder the bridge that changes the power supply to 110v, I'm not sure if you would need to change the capacitor(since it would already supports the 110v voltage)
  17. Are you tsop or chip? If tsop, what did you use? What bios version, udma speed, default paths? What's your Cerbios.ini look like?
  18. Cerbios on full reset IGR double reboots on my 1.1 Xbox too, showing the dogs logo twice and then going straight to the dash and I don't have any softmod files installed.
  19. Unfortunately, I’m needing to convert down to 110V. There is a lot more info on converting to 220v than stepping it down.
  20. I was able to flash my DuoX2 with XBlastOS XBE version with the Cerbios Bios Flasher Disc. I chose 256Kb version since if i remember correctly Chinese Duo X2 clones don't actually have 1Mb split in half (chosen with the physical bank switch) but instead 2 x 256kb, so better safe than sorry. By default the Duo X2's came with 1.6 compatible bios in bank 2 so you might want to double check what you have in those banks and then flash the one that does not work (boot with the one that works, then flick the switch and then flash), then you have a backup if something goes wrong.
  21. Thank you for all of your input, I learned a lot. I went to my local game store and was able to pick up an OEM controller and it worked :). I felt like I was going crazy and running out of ideas, so exciting to see that cerbios start up after a successful flash
  22. I'm not that technical but I followed what was on these images and it worked great. https://imgur.com/a/0OkmO12 My power supply is the last one, 2 capacitor with checks for 110v and 220v on the board. Changed from 110v to 220v. You could do a guide with the "Just do this" and hope that someone will fill up the technical knowledge haha.
  23. I got around to working on this one again, and I can't figure it out. I completely wiped the stock hdd, installed only Hazeno's C and E (with apps), and it still double resets IGRFull, however IGRDash and IGRShutdown work fine. I then long formatted a new 2TB hdd in FatX, installed Hazeno's C and E with apps, same thing. I only have P/Q while in 4Gamers, UnleashX doesn't show them. Can you verify if you have 4Gamers, that P/Q aren't present in File Manager? There's no possible way for me to have softmod files still present. Would my Cerbios bios be the culprit somehow? I just noticed something in UnleashX Patched. When I loaded into it, the IP was static, so I set it to DHCP like normal, reset to 4Gamers, and now my 4Gamers IP changed to the Static IP of UX Patched, but 4Gamers network settings still shows Default Dash. What's the difference between UnleashX and UnleashX Patched? Some apps aren't named default.xbe, I have to change multiple, if that matters. Unleashx.xbe, XblastOS.xbe, etc.

  25. I'm terrible at soldering, it was a struggle for me just to recap the CPU + clock caps, so I'd be loathe to replace the modchip.. I ended up just using https://www.hazeno.com/home/hdd-upgrade-2tb-and-under to install, on a new HDD. Which is working well. But I'd still like to update the bios so I could use XISO format and things like that. How can I tell what bios I am on? Or what bios is compatible with the Duo X2? You think Cerbios or XBlastOS might work? Could someone that knows the Duo X2 confirm? I'd hate to brick it. It does have two bios slots so I could try on the other one I suppose. But I'm not even sure how I would switch it while it's running etc I got the xbox 8 years ago so the bios is *at least* 8 years old, if not even older
  26. Please be a bit more detailed. What installer are you using? Which partition are you telling the installer to install your dash to? I would honestly not continue using this chip, as it's kind of a headache, to be honest. But that is only my opinion. Maybe consider an XBlast Aladdin or an OpenXenium. I would try to flash Cerbios. Evox is outdated and not really as useful anymore. There is no reason to use it as your bios. I do not know the flashing process for the DuoX, but it may be able to be flashed with the XBE version of XBlastOS.
  27. This is a general dash error. See if running an installer such as the OGXbox installer and "Setting up" C resolves your issue. Formatting C and reinstalling the general files there is not a risk as longas you are not softmodded.
  28. Thanks for all your replies again, very much apprieciated. Sorry if i've confused anyone with any info in my previous posts. No, the MS dash doesn't work at all when i select it's .xmb whilst in file manager. I was only referring to the fact that the unleased dash .xmb DID work when selecting it in file manager just for comparison. All this is being attempted whilst I'm in the file manager of XBMC4Gamers as this is my default dash that loads each time I boot up. Thanks for the heads up on pressing R3, i didn't know this.
